The New Light of Hope: Books I to VI.

Chapter IX: Journey to the Northeast Forest; Days 5 and 6.

Milly:

Day five:

The next day came and we all woke up and left earlier than usual, as we were not too far away from the Northeast now and we would waste no time to get there either.

We traveled longer than usual as well and stopped when the sun was just about to set; as we settled down, Aurora had approached all of us. "Amethyst and Bellatrix, along with the leader's, co-leader's, and healer's all want to see us to discuss a thing or two about what we want to change when we get to the Northeast." She explained to us.

"All right," Bella said, "might as well get this over with."

We all followed her as she led us to an area away from the rest of the Divisions and we then got to a wooded area, where the leader's, co-leader's, healer's, Amethyst, and Bellatrix were all waiting for us. "Y'all wanted to see us?" I asked them. "Yes, we did, Milly." Chief ArrowHeart replied. "We all wanted to hold a private meeting between all of us about what you all want to change when we get to the new forest, which we've agreed on as well. I for one am done with having to follow these same old codes and want to change a thing or two about them." Chief GorseHunter

"We also wanted to go over the best areas to find herbs as well." Bellatrix added in. "All right," I said, "let's get started, shall we?"

The leader's went over the Code of Conduct and with each rule, we made a modification to each and every one of them, the co-leader's and Amethyst and rest of us went over where each Division would settle to call their new home, Summer had told them: "Hold on now. We'll have to get there to see what we're dealing with first, but once we do, we'll figure something out, okay? One thing at a time, all right?"

"All right." Chief FalconTalon agreed.

We then went on to discuss a suggestion made by Jemma on renaming the dens and adding in two other dens: the Den of the Co-leading Animals and the Den of the Apprentices. We then went on to discuss as to where we could find some herbs and if there was a limited amount, we would have to distribute the herbs evenly amongst the Divisions, the herbs each of the healer's carried with would not be enough, that was for sure. Once we were done, we all went back to rest as we had another long day ahead of us.

Summer:

Day six:

The next day came and we all woke up very earlier than usual to continue with our journey. "We're almost there everyone!" Sadie announced. "We'll be there soon enough!"

We then continued forward with our trip.

We walked more than ever, we weren't given up now, we had already come this far and we could not give up and turn around now.

Eventually, we came towards a hill area, we began to walk up on the hill and once we all got to the top, there was something waiting for all of us at the bottom: the Northeast Forest; the new home of the animals.

"We're here." Sadie said. "Everyone, say hello to your new home."
