Amethyst:

Bravery.

The second power that had been proposed by BoulderHeart upon suggesting it to the leaders which was then approved to be the second power. Those who went on to possess this power would be named as the Joint Leader of the Protectors and would show dogmatic behavior and would also give off a powerful growl, or snarl, or in some cases, even a roar- so powerful that even the most valiant enemies will be easily convinced to run back where they came from. The last one to have inherit this power was ShadeFur during the Sixth Generation up until the death of Chief StrikeTalon where he went on to inherit his power with Bravery passing down to TwigClaw, who previously represented Thorns with her sister, TurtleHeart, taken her place. And this power would later be given to me.

CrystalHeart:

Cryokinesis.

The tenth power that had been suggested by CrowWing upon finding Aspen, his brothers and sisters out in the woods during a patrol, where he had decided that he and his siblings would be the chosen animals to represent the second eight Protectors of the forest-those who went on to possess this power who be given the ability to summon and use ice no matter what the temperature was and use it for their own reasons. The last one to have inherit this power was a member of the Night Runners Division and a former loner named Luna during the Sixth Generation up until she and the rest of the Portectors were killed. And this power would later be given to me.

And the day when we would have the same experience as Aurora and DawnHeart two days prior was when we received a better understanding of what our powers had in store for us.

We gathered at our small cache in the forest to discuss tthet recen carnage that was taken place throughout the Northeast Woodlands and come with ways to protect the Forest. "I've been paying attention to the recent murders and from what I understand, it's namely some of the female animals who've been the subject of all of them." Summer blatantly pointed out, taken a step back away from us. "Or something alone those lines." She added in.
"I agree, Summer." I replied. "Especially when it's nightfall while everyone is asleep where they take don't suspect a thing."

"But how would they be able to pull that off with sneaking inside the camp without anyone scenting them out or without getting caught? More importantly: How come none of the animals were heard screaming outside when it took place?" Bellatrix asked.

Summer: "That's a good question, Bellatrix. My guess would be that they used mud to cover up their scent before entering the camp quietly without anyone suspecting anything or alerting anyone who may have been asleep at the time when they came inside to find an animal of their choice to kidnap and drag away from the camp as far as possible that no one would get suspicious about it."

Milly: "But how would they able to get away with that if the animal they were dragging was still alive and sleeping? Surely they would've made some sort of noise if they were being dragged out of the camp by a bunch of intruders if that were the case in this situation, right?"

Amethyst: "That's a good question, Mill."

Aurora: "And a question that would have a simple answer to it if there even was one to give. Because to tell you the truth, I'm just as confused as you guys are about this whole debacle. And you do have a point, Milly; surely we would've heard them screaming for help if they were being dragged out of the camp by force."

DuskFire: "I just don't understand how they've managed to sneak into our homes, pick any adult female animal in the Division, drag her as far as possible away from the camp, kill her and leave her for dead because many of the animals, like FlowerHeart, usually roam within range of the camp, but not too far away from it to the point in which they might get lost if they were to wander too far from the area."
