Chapter XXX: The Battle and a Blessing.

Amethyst:

The one thing that we had suspected all along had finally come; the attack of the threats in the forest. But we were not backing down from this threat at all, we all chose to fight back. We were not going anywhere!

I had stumble across one the figures wearing dark gray and black clothing and mask and the tail of a wolf and we fought, but he did not really fight back at all, well, he did, but made very low efforts doing so. "Fight me like you really mean it, you sick bastard!" I yelled, yet he still refused. "Get out of the way! I'll show you how it's really done." Another figure with the tail of an alligator got in his way of him but before he could do anything, the other touched his shoulder, as if he was telling him… not to hurt me? Wasn't he our enemy? I thought he would not show any mercy to the innocent considering he was an enemy of ours. He looked at me and then looked at him. "Stroman, we have to; Boss said so."

Stroman: "But Lucas, she's just a kid! We can't hurt her!"

Lucas: "She's fourteen years old and besides, this is what–"

Before he could finish what he was saying, I attacked him and pinned him to the ground. "A battle ain't a good time to argue." I said. Just then, a huge brown Jack Russell dog with fearsome claws grabbed me, but Laura came and bit him, causing him to let go of me and scream in pain. "Where did you go, you little piece of–" I jumped onto his back and sank my teeth into his ear, I jerked my head up and bit into his ear and then jerked it back up and ripped his ear clean off, making him let out a scream of agony. I had jumped down and spat out his torn ear to go afterwards to try and help out my friends.

Aurora:

I was fighting a koala-like figure with blue eyes and she seemed to have quite the fighting skills as well. But then another figure stepped in to help; he was also a koala, but he wore a factory suit and had one orange and black eye and one green eye, he was also carrying dual maces his choice of weapons. He then turned to face the other koala and yelled: "You, go and help out your sister! Now! I'll handle this this little pest!"

"But, dad. She's just a–"

"I said now, Kayla!"

She then left. Did she just call him "Dad"? I asked myself. "Now I'll take care of you." He said, grabbing me by the neck as he slowly pulled out a knife. I then kicked him in the knee joint. "Ow! Damnit you–" I ran and grabbed my sword as fast as I could. "Why you–" he ran up to me but I then gave a clean punch right in the face, causing his nose to bleed. Amethyst and Summer then stepped in and Amethyst scratched his face, causing him to flee. "Thought you could use a bit of some assistance." Summer said. "Thanks, y'all." I said. "Don't mention it, kid. I didn't come out here for no reason."

"We have to keep fighting no matter what."

Sadie and Jemma:

Sadie:

During the battle, we had each other's backs as we fought off the spies –which were the figures who were wearing the dark gray and black clothing and mask– and a few other members as well. But there was a creature of sorts known as Crawlers which would come from mysterious portals that emerged from the ground and would try and drag us down with them; their characteristics are somewhat similar to Sentinels, except their faces were white and they had no legs and crawled around on the ground –hence as to why they are called Crawlers–.

Jemma:

On top of all of that, there were also some creatures that bare the appearances as different animals; one example of that was a hippopotamus with a very Russian accent named Ferguson –or Fergus for short– and another was of course the snake known as Silzous; he was one that you did not want to mess with. One fierce swing with his weapon and it was off with your head! We did not battle neither of them, and we would not even stand a chance against them either. They would have easily defeated us if we did attempt to fight them off.
