Date: July 5, 2020.

That day after doing my bible studies, I just... sat in my room and looked out the window with random thoughts on my mind and some were in regards to my family. I know it's strange to even get off topic about these sorts of thing, but what struck my mind that day was the thought of how I only knew the relatives from one side of the family but my brothers and I never got to knew the other side; for our whole lives, we only knew our paternal relatives but we never knew our maternal relatives; our grandparents were arrested when our mother was still young and our uncle ran away to find our Aunt Daisy when she left for military service when our parents along with Billy and Mr. Anderson went through a heist that was all for nothing when they finished it. My mother searched high and low just to try and find our uncle and bring him back home safely to Silverville, but she later and unfortunately gave up on finding him just so she could raise me and my brothers. While I understood her descision as to why she did this, I felt bad that she had to give up on a goal she was determined to complete for years now but had to give up in for the sake of us; her children. She told us a thing or two about her family when we asked her.

Before I could even wrap myself in my own thoughts, I decided that I would talk to my mother to learn about my maternal relatives and I would get my brothers so we could all learn about our maternal relatives besides what little we knew about them from what our mother had told us about them when asked about it.

I walked out of my room and knocked on Wilson's door where not long after, he said: "Enter." Where I turned the knob and opened the door to find Wilson sitting down at his desk where he usually did his studies and he asked me: "Do you need something, sis?"

Amethyst: "Yes, I was going to grab you and Rascal to try and learn more about our relatives. More specifically, our maternal grandparents and our uncle."

Wilson: "Oh, well of course. How come?"

Amethyst: "It was just something that crossed my mind after I was done with my studies and how mom had to give up on her goal of finding our uncle just so she could raise us."

Wilson: "Well, since we are done with our bible studies for the day and since I don't really have anything else to do, I don't see why not."

Amethyst: "Perfect. Let's get Rascal and then we'll go from there."

He got up and left the room and I closed his room door and we went over to Rascal's room door and knocked on it until we heard Rascal respond: "Come in." I opened his room door to see him just laying down while reading a book but looked over to face us and asked: "What's up, guys?"

Amethyst: "We're going find out more about our grandparents and our uncle besides what little we know about them. Do you want to come along with us?"

Rascal: "Sure. It's always a good thing to learn more about your relatives. Let's do this."

He placed his book down, got up, and got out of his room and I closed the door behind me and we went into the main room to find our mother and learn more about her family-- The family that we never got to know.

We talked with our mother about this subject and this is what she told us:

Our grandmother's name was Wanda, our grandfather's name was Walter, and our uncle... his name was William, which are also our middle names; Wilson's middle name is Walter, my middle name is Wanda, and Rascal's middle name is William respectfully.

Our mother described our grandmother --her mother-- as a caring and compassionate woman whose wisdom, kindness, and motherly, overprotective traits that she would later possess herself; she described our grandfather --her father-- as fiercely protective of his wife and children, kind, patient, wise, and knew that his own children had dreams of their own like he did when he was around our age; and our mother described our uncle --her younger brother-- as... an energentic, playful, gerful, and loving towards his parents and older sister, but it was obvious he may have had some sort of seperation issues and might have showed signs of ODD --Oppositional Defiant Disorder-- when Daisy left for mandatory military service up north and didn't even bother to interact with our mother whenever she tried to talk to him-- Daisy's absence is eventually what led him to leave our mother and left his scarf behind when he did and since then, she's worn his scarf as a way to remind herself of him because it's all that she has left of her brother, the brother she tried so very hard to find and bring back home where he would be safe and sound with her and the rest of her friends but had to give up just to raise us. A descision we found heartbreaking to say the least, but one that she had to settle with because she wanted to raise us to send us done the path of good and not evil so we wouldn't end up in the situation as her and our father did years ago before we were even born.

But I was going to change all of that; because I was going to help my mother in achieving her goal that she relunctantly gave up on; I would be sure to find her family and bring them back home.
