Chapter XV: Milly's Corruption.

Commander Aurora:

Date: August 15, 2020.

Sadie, Jemma, and Scarlett told us the next day about the loner they took in when they were making their way to the Sun Chasers Division; how the loner was a coyote and the he wanted to keep identity a secret from everyone as they knew that they would probably chase him out if they were to learn that he was a coyote. "As much as I hate lying in front of Chief CosmoPelt and AdderNose, I know that this is how we can keep Dust and his indentity safe so that way nothing bad happens to him." Jemma admitted. "And who knows. Maybe he'll become the first coyote to ever live in a Division! You just never know with these kinds of situations."

Commander Aurora: "True, true. But I think it'd be best if we just kept quiet about this for right now and not mention anything about a coyote joining a Division wanting to keep quiet about it."

Amethyst: "I agree with you, Aurora. Now then, if all hearts and minds are clear, shall we get going to the Divisions?"

Commander Aurora: "Yes, let's do so."

And we went from there, not knowing what the day was going to throw right at us.

In the Shade Hunters Division.

"Remember, use your paws and your body force and aim for the chest with yours paws!" I told Dandelion during battle training. That same day, some of the Hunter apprentices joined us for battle training and Dandelion was practicing with another apprentice named Ice; remembering what she heard from me, she used my words and they came in handy as she did exactly what I had told her to do and as Ice tried to get up. She let her up where Ice then charged at her but she moved out of the way, ran behind her, pounced, and pinned her to the ground. "All right, I give in!" Ice exclaimed. Dandelion then moved and let her up. "Excellent work, Dandelion!" I told her as she made her way back over to where the other apprentices were sitting."Thank you, Amethyst." She replied as she sat down. Training between the apprentices went on as normal where General ShrewTalon then announced the Apprentice versus Trainer fight with OnyxFur and Juniper going first. "Are you ready?" Captain SpiderTail asked the two. "We sure are, SpiderTail." OnyxFur replied.

Captain SpiderTail: "All right, trainer and apprentice, on three. One... two... thre-"

CrystalHeart: "Amethyst!"

Just then, CrystalHeart and SilentShadow came running to the training area looking a bit frantic from their facial expressions and their eyes which had a mixtured of confusion and bewildered as well. I ran over to them and asked: "What's going on? What's wrong?"

CrystalHeart: "It's Milly! She just passed out randomly out of the blue!"

Amethyst: "What?!"

SilentShadow: "Yeah, and earlier she was complaining how her abdomen was hurting along with her head before she began to cough up some sort of black substance on the ground, her left eye sclenra turned black and then she was walking around saying all sorts of strange gibberish before passing out in front of the whole Division!"

Amethyst: "Oh shit! Okay, all of your continue on with training. We're going to tend to Milly in the meantime, but y'all keep doing what you're doing for right now!"

And then I followed behind CrystalHeart and SilentShadow as they led me to where Milly was and oh my god, when SilentShadow mentioned what happened, he wasn't joking as there was the same black tar coming out of her mouth, from her nose, and from her left eye and darkness covered her left arm that stopped at her elbow. "Oh my God, Milly!" I gasped, crouching down to see if she was okay. "Milly! Milly? Speak to me! Speak to me, Mill! Milly?!" While there was no response, she was still breathing. "CrystalHeart, you and I need to head to the base with Milly NOW!" I said, picking up Milly. "There is no time to ask any questions as to why though there is no reason why you should because the answer is quite obvious."

CrystalHeart: "On it!"

Then we left the Division and headed to the base where I then told CrystalHeart to get Bellatrix and Aurora which she did and once they came back, we worked together to help Milly out and waited for her to wake up from there.

Milly:

Time: 7:12 p.m.

Later that night, I shot awake and found myself in the solitary room with Bellatrix and Aurora sitting down in the room, waiting for me to eventually wake up which I finally did and said: "Guys…?" My voice trailed off. The two of them woke up and Aurora said: "Oh, good, you're awake! How're feelin'?"

Milly: "I'm feeling a lot better than before and I'm ready to get back on track if you are."

Commander Aurora: "Well, that's good to hear. We'll get back on track starting tomorrow. It's practically late by this point but we'll be back in the saddle in the morning. Okay?"

Milly: "Okay, but I think I should stretch my legs a little bit. I haven't been moving around ever since I passed out earlier this afternoon."

Commander Aurora: "Well of course, Milly. Do you need any assistance in getting up?"

Milly: "No thanks, I got it. But thank you anyway."

I so I moved around for a bit until I settled down where, once again, tomorrow was another day filled with twists and turns.
