Y/N dragged Koko and Inupi to the mall, still wondering how she was going to get away from them. It was difficult to do so, though, since they kept close to her. She pretended to look through items, trying to find a way out.

"Y'know, Christmas Eve is in a week," Koko suddenly pointed out.

"Huh? What does that have to do with anything?" Y/N asked.

"I'm saying you should get the young master a present or somethin'. He's getting you something, so it'd only be fair."

"Oh... Yeah, I guess..."

That's how Y/N ended up Christmas shopping for Hakkai and Yuzuha. She also got things for the others in case she saw them again, though she was starting to have her doubts.

As she went to one of the clothing stores in the mall, she accidentally bumped into someone.

"Ah, sorry!" she apologized, embarrassed.

"No, it's... Y/N?"

Y/N gasped upon hearing the familiar voice. She immediately looked up and saw...

"Takashi!" she gasped.

"Get away from Y/N-san, or we'll personally take care of you," Inupi threatened, narrowing his eyes at him.

"Y/N... So this is what Yuzuha was talking about..." he uttered, whispering the last part under his breath.

"Oh, don't worry...! He's just a friend of mine!" Y/N said, stopping Inupi from attacking. Inupi only scoffed, moving his hand to his pocket that carried his switchblade. "Ah... What are you doing here, Takashi? Aren't there only girls' clothes in this store? Not that you can't wear girl clothes, I just never take you for that kinda guy...!"

Mitsuya chuckled, waving his hands dismissively.

"Oh, I'm not buying stuff for myself. I'm Christmas shopping for my little sisters," he said.

"You have sisters?! I didn't know that!"

"Yup! Luna and Mana. The lights of my life."

"Aw, that's so sweet!"

Mitsuya smiled at her, happy to see her after so long. Ever since you disappeared, he was so worried. He was even more worried when Yuzuha told him that Taiju took you for Hakkai. He couldn't help but feel betrayed by Hakkai... Couldn't he at least share her?

That wasn't the point, though! The point was, Y/N was safe and sound. Now Mitsuya just had to find a way to get out of her mess... She couldn't do it now... Not while in public, and not while her 'bodyguards' were watching... He'd have to tell Mikey about the situation. He leaned down a little to whisper in her ear.

"Yuzuha told me everything... We're gonna rescue you and take you back to Toman where you rightfully belong..."
