Working With The Winter Soldier As An Hydra Member

Ever since HYDRA obtained James Barnes, every year they gain closer to the Winter Soldier. It first starts with the super soldier serum. Afterwards, they continue their treatment with different kind of methods, such as medicine, psychological torture and treatments, they create their perfect killing machine. After many decades, they continue training the Winter Soldier to become the machine as he is. During the time, the Winter Soldier got different people who research him. At first, he holds distain towards them, but along the years, he became numb.

At the current day, Y/N is newly appointed to research and develop him. It's his first day, and after the Winter Soldier came back from a mission, he also came back with a bullet in his stomach. And now on the table, the brunette looks emptily at Y/N, who's about to pull out the bullet, alongside two other colleges.

"You sure we shouldn't put him under anesthesia?"

"It doesn't feel a pain." Y/N found it disturbing they mentioned their subject as an object. "We might as well be practical."

Y/N frowns. He looks down at the man, finding it a bit freaky. "Let's hope he's alright..."

A week later, and Y/N is keeping track of the Winter Soldier's statistics. Things like weight, condition, aim coordination, body strength. The scientist has an entire list that keeps track of things. As they go down the list, Y/N notices his obedience up close, not even questioning his orders.

"And now your upper body strength." They both get to some set off weights. The brunette sits down on the bench to grab the giant and heavy dumbbell. Y/N grabs his stopwatch. "Alright, go."

It goes on like this. One order after another. Y/N writing down the data. He can tell it's impossible to get results like this for the regular person.

After several tests, they move on with his ability to fight. The Winter Soldier is punching against a punching bag, which is connected with a machine that calculates the amount of damage inflicted based on velocity and strength. As he punches, Y/N stretches his body a bit, even walk around a bit. As he does, the soldier notices a presence behind him. Without thinking, he turns around within a second and punches his target down, only to realize it's Y/N.

"Fuck...!" With the vast speed and strength, Y/N fell on the floor, putting a hand against his bleeding nose.

He looks up to see the soldier stunned. However after two seconds, he crouches down and removes his shirt. Gently, he put the shirt against Y/N's nose. That's when he grabs it, allowing the soldier to put his hand back. As the scientist looks at the brunette, he can tell by the Winter Soldier's eyes that he feels remorse for what he did.

"I'm alright... thanks." Y/N says, even though his nose really hurts. "I'm sorry if I scared you." The Winter Soldier remains quiet, merely looking at him.

It wasn't out of the ordinary that the Winter Soldier's mind gets affected by the torture he experiences, especially when he sleeps. During times like this, he gets in a rampage, killing anything in his way. That's exactly why HYDRA got precautions to stop him. Such as putting him in isolation, having his limbs cuffed, guards nearby. It does the trick, but the beast learns and adapt. It was only time for him to break free.

Thus, a siren can be heard inside of the entire base. Guards try to neutralize the monster; however they are no match, and quickly get discarded. From one room to another, he kills off anyone he sees.
