Loki Wanting To Join The X-Men

Loki's relationship with the Avengers were stale at best. Considering his status as a trickster that almost destroyed the world, none of them are particularly fond of him. He doesn't mind, because he isn't fond of them either. Thor? Childish. Tony? Arrogant. Steve? Cheated his way to become what he is. Bruce? Ticking time bomb. He could go on and on about his relationship with each member.

One day, during his 'redemption' while working at the Avengers, he discovered a different group, the X-Men. He finds it interesting that the group consists of only people with some kind of supernatural power exists. Thinking it must be some kind of gift of the gods and not the X-gene that exists, Loki is more intrigued about the other group.

Thus, one day, while the X-Men were on the mission, saving a town from a dam that was about to crack, Loki saw how they work. He saw what the Avengers could do. Although impressive in power, they aren't one force, which is their biggest weakness. The X-Men however seem to work as one army. Even if some don't get along, such as Logan and Scott, they put their troubles aside and work.

A sudden desire brew on that day, be a part on the better team. He knew the Avengers won't let him free, and the X-Men won't allow him to join without making a fuss about it. That leaves one thing, infiltrate the X-Men as a mutant. Disguising his shapeshifting powers as mutation, the plane seems perfect. Thus, he applies himself as an X-Men member as his new identity, Falon Kileyous, an anagram he thought of.

"A shapeshifter, huh?" Charles seems impressed, as Loki, now in his disguise, looking more normal, though a bit smug, is sits opposite of him. "The Brotherhood has one called Mystique. She often uses her powers to gain info and sabotages our plans. Having one on our side would be useful."

"Of course, sir." Loki smiles nicely. "I'm quite good in combat too, so I can defend myself. Of course, I need to learn how to work with a team, but I see potential with myself in this group."

"I can believe that." Charlies responds back. "Before you become a part of the X-Men, we want to see what kind of person you are. Let me introduce you to one member of the team, Y/N."

Thus, they leave the office and heads outside, where they spot Y/N relaxing a bit while taking a stroll. Loki gives him a nice smile.

"Y/N, I want you to be introduced to Falon Kileyous."

Y/N gives a hand to the new man. "Nice to meet you."

"You too." Loki responds back.

"Mr. Kileyous is a shapeshifter that is eager to join the team. I want you to judge his character."

"That won't be a problem." Y/N responds back to his boss. "How about we start the introduction to the team?" He then looks around, seeing Logan and Ororo talking. "These two are part of a team. Their name is Logan and Ororo. How about you introduce yourself to them? I catch up."

"Alright, Y/N." Loki gives a charming smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you." He then walks away to the two.

Y/N then looks back at his boss, who speaks up. "He didn't thought that I can read mind. His true name is Loki Laufeyson."

"The guy who almost destroyed New York?" Y/N responds, a bit shocked why he's here..

"One and only." Charles comments. "The only reason why I'm not kicking him out is because his intentions about joining the team is true. Or would I rather phrase it as 'better than the Avengers'. Let's just see if he's willing to pull tricks on us. Keep an eye on him. Got it?"
