In detention, both teens look unamused as Logan is observe them while reading a magazine. His feet are crossed on the desk, clearly enjoying them suffering.

"Just don't be a pain in the ass and I don't be one to you."

Without a respond, both teens just do their homework, having nothing else to do. There are some small glares once in a while, but they remain quiet. As doing his homework, Bobby's mind runs wild, as he's bored. During which, he feels like he should at least try to fix things. Not necessary because of Y/N, but because of his place in the X-Men.

It feels like forever when something excited happens, which happens to be Logan leaving to go to the bathroom. "Don't be a moron and do something stupid while I'm gone." Thus, he leaves the classroom.

Once he does, Bobby looks besides him. "We need to talk." Though Y/N merely ignores him, though that won't stop Iceman. "Look, both of us would rather be part of the X-Men than being here. How about we pretend to be friends and try to convince the principle we're okay?"

"Sure, because convincing a mind reader is an easy thing."

Bobby sighs, feeling stupid to not think about that. "My point still stands. I hate this. You hate this. We both rather want to be part of the X-Men."

Y/N then looks at him, not looking happy. "And how? We both hate each other, and no one is convinced to think otherwise. All I want is to be done with this school without having someone breathing out on my neck." With a huff, he snaps back at working.

Bobby frowns. He looks around, thinking of something of how to fix the situation. That's when realized the solution, but it isn't going to be easy. "How about this? We try to get along with each other."

Y/N raises his left eyebrow. "Did you smoke pot?"

"I'm serious." Bobby says. "The only way to get back in the X-Men is to actually get along with each other."

"Oh god, you're actually serious." With an eyeroll, he looks back at his work.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"Because neither of us are sorry. I'm not sorry at lashing out on you. You're not sorry for constantly correcting me. Just save your breath."

Bobby sighs. He's right, again. That's why he needs to be the bigger person. "Whatever issue we have, we can fix it." He looks back at the door, expecting Logan to get back. "But Logan would just shut up us. Go to my room at 8."

"Why would you think I go?"

"I won't. I simply hope so."

With that, both teens get back to their work when Logan enters the room. He gets back to his place, observing the two as they think about what just happened and what is going to do.

Later that day, to his surprise, Y/N followed up with Bobby's request. With a knock on the door, Bobby opens it and allows Y/N to get in. Once in, Bobby sits down on his bed, while Y/N sits on a chair.

"And what now?" Y/N challenges Bobby, doubtful anything is going to happen.

"Look, the problem you got with me is that you think I'm constantly correcting you."

"Yeah."

"Okay. Then I'm sorry if it seems I'm harassing you. It wasn't me intend to make you upset. I only wanted to help. So, as for now, I'm willing to help only if you ask to, okay?"
