Steve is done with his recent mission. He's currently taking his rest by taking a walk in a forest. Although the war is currently at his and his countryside, the war did take a toll on him. During the battles, many good men has lost their life for exchange the freedom of their and other people's country. Steve had this though after every battle.

Steve takes his stroll in a forest in Europe. He's astonished of other countries beauty. 'I should travel the world after the war.' Steve thought. He's standing at the river, smiling at how peaceful is.

"Hey loser!" Steve looks behind him and see Y/N jogging towards him.

"Hey Y/N. Also taking a break?" Steve responds.

Y/N is standing to the right of him, also looking at the river. "Yes. Just got a bullet out of the guy, well, multiple bullets. It was... bloody... a lot of blood." Y/N says akwardly.

"You're doing a good job Y/N. Many men lost their life in this war, thanks to you, you're making that number less." Steve looks at him with a gently smile.

"Thank you, but you're saving more lives than me or anybody else. If anybody is a hero, it's you." Y/N admits.

"You know is just about me. It's about my comrades, about you and the rest of the medical team, about the people who helped us with resources and many more." Steve explains. "Don't underestimate your capabilities."

Y/N smiles. "T-thank you. It means a lot to me."

Steve smiles and uses his right hand to hold his left hand. He gently cress his hand with his thumb. "Always for you."

Y/N smiles more, feeling the affection from Steve. "I wish we could do this in public... but I can live with this."

Steve smiles at him. "Well, I think that one day, we can love with each other without being a problem."

"I think so too. If people found out that the great Captain America likes men, maybe people will change their minds." Y/N comments. "But I don't think you want other people to know about that."

"Maybe one day." Steve wished he could do so but knowing how other people would react. It's better to keep it a secret for the sake of him and his boyfriend. "I think I can tell Bucky. He's my best friend, so I think he will be okay with me and you, and if he isn't, I think he's okay to change his thoughts."

Y/N smiles. "I talked to Bucky a few times. He's a good guy. I don't think he mind that we love each other." Y/N looks back at the river. "He also told me some stories about you."

Steve sighs. "Oh no, what did he told you?" He asks tiredly.

"Some funny stories about your past dating life. That's it." Y/N says with a shit eating grin.

"Thank you, Bucky, for sharing those stories." Steve whispers to himself. "What did he say?"

"Apparently, Bucky set you up with many dates with all kinds of women, and of all of your dates, you're just an awkward guy." Y/N smiles, remembering what Bucky told him. "To be fair, you're still an awkward guy."

Steve chuckles. "Thank you."

They look back at the river and stay silent for some seconds, admiring the view. The two men continue holding each other hands tight, cherishing the moment they have together.

Steve sighs. "We should probably go back before people start searching for us."

Y/N hums quietly. "Alright."

He let go of Steve's hand and look at it. Steve gives him a kiss. Afterwards, he gives him a smile. "We should do this more often, just the two of us."

Y/N begins to smile brightly. "I can't wait for the next time."
