Helping Bucky With Recovering His Memories

The Avengers have many enemies, with a prominent one being HYDRA. It started all the way back during World War 2, and the battle still continues. While the good guys have the upper hand, HYDRA manages to survive after many loses. Still, it was only a time that the Avengers with the help from SHIELD discover HYDRA's base.

Thus, the heroes ambush them and manage to secure the area. While knowing they behold some kind of strange gadgets and other monstrosities, however they didn't expect this. The Winter Soldier, frozen shut in a Statis pod. For most of the Avengers, they knew him as a big threat, for Steve however, this is his best friend. Knowing there is good within him left, they took Bucky back. Still, SHIELD insists they treat the mentally wounded soldier. That's where Y/N comes in.

Y/N is a member of the Avengers, but he's far more for being the one who looks out for his other teammates, whether it's physically or mentally. With several degrees, it's only natural SHIELD would select him.

Thus, here they are at their first meeting. They're at the neighbourhood Bucky grew up in. Even though times changed, the brunette should remember his past. However, he doesn't, merely looking around.

"Steve said you grew up here." Y/N speaks up, standing next to him as he looks around as well. He notices Bucky's stoic face. "Does anything ring a bell?"

"No." Bucky answers. He looks bothered with the fact he doesn't make process.

Y/N hums. "Let's take a stroll."

And thus, they begin walking around the neighbourhood. Y/N points out interesting structures there, such as buildings and parks. When he asked Bucky about it, all he could reply he doesn't remember about it, as far as he knows.

They then pass by a small take-out restaurant, giving Y/N an idea. "What's your favourite food?"

"I..." He thinks about it, looking disappointed he can't realize the answer. "I'm not sure."

"Then let's grab a bite. My treat."

They get to the restaurant and order some food, though in smaller portions and going to share the food. Once they get everything, they get to a park, sit down on a bench and merely eat the fast food.

"And does it taste good?"

Bucky hums as he eats some fried chicken. "It's great." He swallows the food before continuing to talk. "...I'm not sure I ate this. I mean, I probably have, but this doesn't ring a bell."

Y/N just give him an assuring smile. "It's alright. Just take the time and I'm sure you remember something. Let's just not rush it."

"Thank you." Bucky gives a small smile.

"You're welcome. Besides, I got other plans that may help you."

Bucky enters the Avengers movie room, where Y/N prepared something that may help Bucky. He asked Steve about the movies they watched in the past. After talking to SHIELD to recover the ancient movies, Y/N can show them to Bucky. He prepares some popcorn, along with some drinks. And now, it's time to watch a movie.

"I'm not sure what kinda genre you liked, so I picked out some cool movies, as well some iconic. Casablanca, Stagecoach, , even Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. And much more. I got plenty of time, so we can binge watch them if you like."

Bucky raises an eyebrow. "Binge watch?"

"Basically, marathon them. Though if you feel tired or something, say so and we can watch another time."
