Bucky Being Hated On By Tony's Brother

Although they don't consider their childhood the best, especially with the high expectations of their dad, their mom was a sweetheart and was always there for them. That's when the day suddenly arrived that their parents died in a car crash, leaving Tony to take care of his younger brother, who was just a preteen at the time.

Several years have passed, and having the entire split with the Avengers, Y/N is left just hurt. On one side, he does think the Avengers needs to be better. Not to mention the guy who has been taking care of him is at that side. While on the other side, he feels it's better to join up with Steve and to have the Avenger's fate in their own hands. After a lot of hesitation, he decided to place his trust on Steve.

Although Steve had more motives to fight for his side, which is making sure Bucky doesn't get arrested, Y/N doesn't mind it. 'A friend of Steve is my friend', he told himself. And then they left the airport and got to where the supposed super soldiers were.

When Tony was there as well, acting peacefully, Y/N got hopeful the team would be back together again. However, he couldn't be more wrong. That's when it was revealed the car crash was an assassination caused by no one other than Bucky.

Furious, Tony fought Bucky, who got protected by Steve. Expecting help from his little brother, he called up on him, and yet Y/N is frozen still. As he's stick in his mind, the younger Stark brother can't help but feel in disbelief that his parents were killed all along, and by his new ally of all people.

"Y/N."

Y/N's thoughts snaps, as he looks back to see Steve, now without his shield and a beaten face. With a gentle face, he crouches down next to his face.

"Are you alright?"

"No..."

Steve gives a gentle arm around his friend. "C'mon... let's get you somewhere warmer."

As they stand up and turn around, that's when Y/N sees his mother's killer. While there is regret behind his eyes, the younger brother can't help but imagine him killing his parents. Thus, he begins panting rapidly and cries.

"S-Stay away from me!"

Yanking himself away from Steve's arms, he runs away to the exit. Both men look at him leaving, wondering how much worse the consequences of the Winter Soldier will haunt them.

"Don't take it personal." Steve assures him tiredly, as Bucky looks back.

"Why shouldn't I? I killed his parents."

"The Winter Soldier did."

"Which I am." Bucky responds back. "Y/N has every right to hate me. I don't blame him. You may think there is a different between Bucky Barnes and the Winter Soldier, but not every else thinks so."

Steve takes a deep breath as he thinks for a second. "Let's just get everyone and lay down for a while..."

Ever since that day, the team has been split. One back home in New York, while the others travelling around the world as refugees. For Bucky however, he's staying in Wakanda for his rehabilitation. While he feels lonely from time to time, he's glad Steve tries to make time to visit him. It isn't just him, but the rest of the team. With the visits, Bucky will not only get to see his best friend, but also a constant reminder of his actions.

While working on the farm, Bucky is chatting with Steve. The blonde is leaning against the fence, looking rather relaxed.

"I'm glad you're doing better."
