And there's no place that I'd rather be.

One year after he proposed, it was finally time to walk down the aisle. They wanted something small; only loved ones were invited.

TIM VERSION.
He was walking around the room he was in. What if she changed her mind and finally ran away from all of this? He served himself a glass of whiskey and sat on the couch, one hour left. The door opened, and it was Angela. She looked at him.

A - No more than one.
T - One what? Bottle ?
A - glass idiot! No more than one glass. You are ready? Got everything?
T - Hm hm
A - Did you finally write your vows?
T - Yesterday. And no, you won't read them before her.

Tim was not the best at sharing feelings, even at his wedding. He tried to write something for months, and yesterday he finally found it. She may be the only one to understand.

LUCY VERSION.
She was trying to not cry. She just got a text from her parents. They won't be there. They were still disappointed with Lucy's life choices and her future husband's too. She tried to have a discussion with them to prove to them that they were wrong and that she was more than just a cop. The dream life they had for her was far away. Tamara was sitting next to her. She hugged her and whispered"I'm sorry, Luce...". Lucy smiled and wiped her teary-eyed eyes.

She stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. It was rare, but she found herself beautiful. She has her dream wedding dress. Tamara came closer to her.

Ta - I've got something for you... I'm just the delivery guy.

She gave her a box. She knew about that box. It was one of hers. She opened it and found her ring with a note. "You should wear it. It saved you. And well, you know, for me, it was the beginning of everything.". She smiled; that ring saved her that day. Tim found her because of that ring.

Tim was standing in the venue, with Wesley and Angela on his right side. He was nervous. She was behind the door, alone. The doors opened; it was time. The music was on, and she took a deep breath and started walking. Someone took her right hand. "You won't do this alone, Lucy.". Nolan smiled and escorted her to Tim. When he saw her, Tim just smiled. He found her beautiful more than every day. Nothing could erase that smile. He was deeply in love with her, and all the audience could testify to it.

They were now face-to-face. She didn't have to talk; he read into her eyes. They asked Grey to officiate their wedding. He said yes. After a few words, it was time for them to exchange their vows. Lucy started first.

L - "Tim, You saved me. You literally brought me back to life. You found me, and I knew you would. I owe you so much. We are not perfect; we're arguing a lot for nothing, and I won't change anything about it. With you, I'm home; I feel seen, I feel loved, and I feel safe. You were an ass when I was your rookie, but guess what? Falling in love with you was stronger. I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow."

T - " Well, I think it's my turn. Luce, you know how bad I'm at sharing feelings. These words are not from me; I chose them because, well, you know." The first time I saw you standing there, Butterflies, all I could do was stare. So flawless and original, my heart dropped, and I fell for everything I was looking for, like your wave crashed upon my shore. Suddenly, I couldn't speak. It's like an angel walked into me and said, " I love you, boot.

She was now crying. He chose some lyrics from one of her favorite songs. That same song was on when he asked that night in the middle of their bed. They exchanged their rings.

G -  Do you, Tim Bradford, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?
T -  I do
G - Do you, Lucy Chen, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?
L - I do
G - By the authority vested in me by the State of California, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Bradford kiss the bride!

And for once, in front of everyone, Tim came closer to his wife and kissed her, as he hadn't kissed her in a while. Everyone applaused. It was done. They were finally married. "I love you, Lucy Bradford," he said against her lips. She hugged him and whispered "I'm pregnant" into his ear. He looked at her, surprised.

T - You ... We ... ?
L - Yes...

Even if everyone looked at them, they were in their bubble. Happier than ever. He hugged her once again. He was so in love with her—more than yesterday, but less than tomorrow.

"As our worlds collide, nothing can keep us apart. From ever leaving this place, as our stars align. They fit together so perfectly.".
