I was just about to kiss her for the first time when she dropped the bombshell,that stopped me in my tracks.
That arsehole that had come crashing in to the green room only to be thrown out by Barrie seconds later was her boyfriend.
As she collapsed in pain at my feet, I realised he was much a bigger arsehole than even I had thought.
What the hell had he done to her?
I couldn't think about that as I realised I needed to get help, fast.
I'm not sure many in my position would have put themselves at risk the way that I did that night. But I knew I couldn't leave her.
I was hopeful that the hospital would be relatively quiet, otherwise I was sure I could get Louis or Mark to come up with some bullshit story about why I was there so late at night.
It certainly wouldn't be the first time they'd have to make something up to get me or one of the other lads out of a hole!
