"You're doing what?" screamed my mum down the phone at me when I told her the exact same thing.

"What the hell do you want to move there for?"

I paused. "Because Ronan lives there" I said simply.

She screamed at me again, but it was a scream of pleasure this time. She was so loud though, that I had to hold the phone away from my ear. "Mum! Shush!" I laughed, "The neighbours will wonder what you're up to?!"

She laughed at this.

"I'm sorry, I'm just so happy for you. I can't believe you're moving in with him"

"Who said anything about moving in.....?" I teased.

"Well if you're not moving in with him, then what the bloody hell....."

"Mum!" I stopped her, before she gave me a lecture.

"I'm going on tour with Ronan!"

"You're what?"

There was another scream, "Oh my god, you did it!"

"Well I'm only going to be a backing singer" I said.

"Yes darling, but it's a start"

I nodded, although she couldn't see me.

I suppose she was right, ever since I was little, my dream had been to one day appear upon a stage as a singer with millions of adoring fans.

Ah well, for the time being, I'd just have to put up with Ronan's adoring fans....

We said our goodbyes, and I sat and looked at my stuff packed up all around me. It had been two weeks since I'd given up my job and said 'yes' to Ronan. I was due to have my stitches out tomorrow, then I could get rid of these bloody crutches!!

Then my flight to Dublin was due for the day after that, providing everything went to plan...

The next day I was at the hospital waiting to have my stitches out when I saw Dan's girlfriend, for the life of me I couldn't think what her name was.

She looked upset.

God I hope he wasn't...

"Rhiannon!" I called out suddenly as I remembered her name.

"Oh Hi Vicky" she said as she turned around.

"Are you ok?" I looked for visible signs, but saw none, then I saw she was crying.

"What is it hun?"

"Dan's gonna kill me" she said.

I looked at her not letting her know that I knew what he was like, there was a pause.

"I'm pregnant" she said.

I almost laughed, "Rhi, he won't kill you, he'll be thrilled!" I said.

She looked at me worriedly.

"You sure?"

"Yes!"

I knew this for a fact as he'd often try and hide my contraceptive pills, but I had no plans to become a mother at my age and I'd always found them.

When I thought back to it now, he really was a nasty piece of work.

Rhiannon walked away, happy that I'd reassured her.

I felt sorry for her, and really hoped that he was treating her well.

My stitches came out with no problems at all, and I was sooooo relieved to get rid of those damn crutches.

As I lay in bed that night, I mentally checked off the list of things to do before I went to Dublin.

I seemed to have remembered everything.

Now all I had to do was sleep.....

Impossible in my excited state.
