God I could have killed him that day.
The hurt in that poor woman's eyes as she realised what was going on.
I couldn't tell you why he did what he did.
Maybe he knew that he didn't want to be with her anymore and was determined to be as much of an arsehole as he could possibly be to make it easier for her to tell him to fuck off.
I mean who knows.
What I do know is that I hated him at that moment for how he'd treated her.
It made me determined that no matter what happened, I would always be there for her.
