Sixty

We were sat at home about a month later, just enjoying the time we had to ourselves. I couldn't put it off any longer, I took a deep breath...

"Ro?" I said quietly.

"Yes babe?" he looked at my worried face.

"I think I might be pregnant"

He looked at me, shocked for a moment or two. Then a massive grin spread slowly across his face.  "Really?"

I nodded slowly.

"So I get to be your husband, and a father?"

I smiled, "Yes you do"

"Do you still want to fly to Australia"

"Yeah, it's only a couple of weeks, I'll be fine"

We'd decided to get married in Australia. My mum had been bugging me to visit her for months, but I could never find the time. This would be a nice surprise and would get me and Ro away from the media for a while.

To say the X Factor had changed my life would be an understatement.

People stared at me wherever I went and mostly ignored poor Ronan. He loved it though, and thought it was hilarious.

We were booked to fly out in two weeks time. We were taking a few people with us, Ronan's closet family, Sophie, Dave, Sharon, Simon and Louis, and a few very close friends. We wanted it to be a small wedding.

Two weeks later me and Ronan were stood outside my mum and dad's house in Melbourne. We knocked at the door and waited.

"SURPRISE!"

My poor mum's face was a picture.

"We've come to invite you to our wedding.....tomorrow" said Ronan.

My mum just stared at him not knowing what to say.

We got married on the beach outside my parents house the next day. I was so happy it was unbelievable. Although there'd been no press of any kind invited, I got the feeling that we were being watched.

When we got back to our hotel that night. I couldn't stop grinning. "Hey, what's up with you...." "Mrs. Keating?"

I grinned even wider when he said that. I winked at him, "Oh, I was just thinking about what I would like to do my new husband...."

"Were you now?"

"Well your husband was wondering what his new wife was wearing under her wedding dress"

We stared at each other for a moment. I took a step closer to him, took his hand and held it over the zip.

"Husband will have to find for himself" I whispered.
