Vic

When I eventually got through to him and told him what had happened, Ro cut short his promotional tour by one day. He was totally devastated that he'd not been home at the time, and was eternally grateful to Mick for helping me through.

Michael had phoned the Gardai as promised in the meantime and they'd managed to get fingerprints and DNA from the doorframe. Dan however, couldn't be found, and we presumed that he'd given up on his strange little game, and had gone back to England.

The day that Ro came home, was the same day that I got the call from the record company, to say that they were contracting me for another album and a UK tour. The stipulation was that the tour came first.

I put the phone down trying to suppress my grin. I was ecstatic, but wanted to see what Ro thought before I got too excited.

"Good news" he asked from the sofa, where Jessica was being bounced on his knee, much to her glee. I nodded slowly, "Polydor...they want another album..."

Ronan grinned. "Babe that's fantastic"

"But they want a tour first Ro...after this album's finished...."

"So soon?" I nodded.

"If you don't think it's right I wo - "

"Don't be silly Vic. We don't need the money, but I know that being up there on that stage is what you love doing more than anything"

"Call them back and say you'll have the album finished by next month. I'll help you and Mick finish it, then you can tour after that, then suggest you have a few months off before the next album"

My face broke into a wide grin at my husband's approval. "Ok" I said. "And thanks Ro"

He winked at me. "You can thank me later" I just blushed.

And so, as promised I finished my 2nd album in record time with the help of Ro and Mick, and the tickets for the tour went on sale the same morning as the album was in the shops.

Unfortunately it also clashed with Jessica's first birthday, but I was adamant that I couldn't do any promo on that day. Luckily the record company and Louis had made enough fuss about the album being recorded in Mick's studio that it didn't need much promo.

When we put Jessica to bed that night I was astounded to have a message on my phone from Louis saying that the tour had almost sold out and would I do extra nights at a few venues. I couldn't really refuse so said yes to an extra five nights which meant that I had a thirty date tour over the next six months.

Time to hit the gym...

I threw myself into training for the tour, learnt new songs, new dance routines, recruited new backing singers, by the time the first date came around I was already knackered. And it clashed with Ro's single release, but he was adamant that he and Jess would be there on opening night. And they were there with Mick and Karen, Jess with her fluffy pink ear defenders looking so cute.

Let's just say she had Ronan's looks....
