Chapter 34

The night was now filled with laughter, people dancing, and drinks flowing freely. The words "Shot shot shot!" echoed through the party as Edson downed a whole bottle of tequila, much to the amusement of those around him. Isa laughed, momentarily forgetting how much she would have to handle Edson later.

Everyone continued laughing and dancing until Isa told Kevin, who was sipping a Capri Sun, that she was going to the restroom.

"Voy al baño, Kevin," Isa said, standing up.

"Okay, no tardes mucho," Kevin replied, watching her head inside.

Minutes passed, and Isa had not yet returned. Kevin started to worry and stood up to ask Agus if she had seen her.

"La vi pasar al baño hace rato, pero no la he visto salir para acá," Agus said, her concern growing.

Agus stood up and went running inside the house. She began calling Isabella's name softly but got no response. Not wanting to alert the guys and cause panic, she kept looking for her quietly. That was until she heard someone scream in the upstairs hallway.

"¡Isa!" Agus yelled as she rushed up the stairs.

At the top of the stairs, she found two men all up on Isa. Isa was struggling to push them away, clearly distressed. Without a moment's hesitation, Agus ran towards them, her voice firm and commanding.

"¡Déjenla en paz, ahora!" Agus shouted, her face contorted with anger.

The men, startled by Agus's sudden appearance, hesitated for a moment. This gave Isa the chance to break free from their grip and move towards Agus.

As Isa rushed toward her, Agus couldn't help but noticed that Isas dress had a tear on the back and on the left side. She knew that the guys were looking for something else, something that she would never allow them to have.

"¿Estás bien, Isa?" Agus asked, her voice softening as she reached out to Isa.

Isa nodded, tears streaming down her face. "Sí, pero ellos..."

Agus cut her off, turning her attention back to the men. "Lárguense de aquí antes de que llame a la policía," she threatened.

Seeing the determination in Agus's eyes, the men backed off and hurried away. Agus put her arm around Isa, giving her a tight hug.

"¿Que te hicieron,?" Agus asked with concern in her voice. Isa took a while to respond since she was now crying and shaking. "Me lastimaron, Agus... me hicieron muchas cosas" she said while looking at Agus as tears dropped from her eyes.

Agus took a look at Isa's arms and found bruises all over her arms, neck, and thighs.

"Lo siento mucho" Agus said holding Isa as she cried in her future sister in law's arms.

"Vamos, Isa. Vamos a buscar a los chicos," Agus said, her voice gentle but firm.

When they reached the bottom of the stairs, Agus spotted Santi and the rest of the group outside. She quickly signaled them to come over.

"¡Santi, ven rápido!" Agus called out, her voice tinged with urgency.

Santi and the others rushed over, their faces filled with concern. "¿Qué pasó?" Santi asked, looking between Agus and Isa.

Agus quickly explained what had happened, and the guys' faces darkened with anger.

"¿Quiénes fueron?" Edson demanded, his voice tight with fury.

"No importa ahora. Lo importante es que Isa está bien," Agus said, trying to calm everyone down.

Santi gently took Isa's hand, his voice soft. "Isa, lo siento mucho. Nunca debiste pasar por esto."
