Isa sat nervously in her assigned seat, fidgeting with the corner of her gown as she waited for her name to be called. She glanced around, catching glimpses of familiar faces in the crowd. Finally, the moment arrived.
"Isabella Alvarez," the announcer called out.
Isa stood up, her heart pounding with excitement and nerves, and made her way towards the outdoor stage. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm glow over the scene. She took a deep breath and approached the microphone.
"¡Hola a todos! Estoy tan emocionada de estar aquí hoy," Isa began, her voice steady but filled with emotion. "Quiero agradecer a mi familia, mis amigos y mis profesores por su apoyo incondicional durante estos años. Sin ustedes, este momento no sería posible."
As she spoke, her eyes scanned the audience, pausing when she spotted Edson, Kevin, Diego, Sebastian, Luis, Julian, Memo, Santiago, and the rest of the team, all seated together, beaming with pride.
"¡Gracias a todos!" Isa concluded, her voice ringing out with gratitude.
The audience erupted into applause as Isa made her way across the stage, shaking hands with her professors and receiving her certificate. A doctor's scrub was draped over her shoulders, a symbol of her hard-earned achievement.
As Isa returned to her seat, she caught Edson's eye and shared a smile. When the ceremony ended, they were dismissed to join their families.
Edson scanned the crowd, searching for Isa until he saw her running towards him. He enveloped her in a tight hug, spinning her around in celebration.
"¡Lo lograste, Isa! Estoy tan orgulloso de ti," Edson exclaimed, his voice filled with genuine admiration.
"¡Gracias, Edson! No podría haberlo hecho sin ti y el equipo," Isa replied, her eyes shining with happiness.
The rest of the team gathered around, offering their congratulations and exchanging hugs and high-fives.
"¡Felicidades, Isa! Eres una inspiración para todos nosotros," Kevin chimed in, clapping Isa on the back.
After the excitement of the ceremony, the group made their way to a fancy restaurant to celebrate. Isa was the center of attention, basking in the glow of her accomplishment.
Edson couldn't help but feel a swell of pride as he looked at Isa, surrounded by their friends, her smile lighting up the room. Tonight was a night to remember, a celebration of hard work, dedication, and the bonds of friendship that had carried them through it all.
As they settled into the elegant restaurant, the mood was filled with excitement and pride. Isa's radiant smile illuminated the table as she basked in the warmth of her friends' congratulations.
"¡Salud por Isa!" Sebastian exclaimed, raising his glass high.
"¡Salud!" the rest of the group chorused, clinking their glasses together in a toast.
Isa's cheeks flushed with happiness as she thanked them all once again. Edson couldn't help but feel a swell of affection for his sister and her incredible achievement.
"¡Felicidades, hermana!" Edson said, raising his glass to Isa. "You've worked so hard for this moment, and I couldn't be prouder of you."
"Gracias, Edson," Isa replied, her voice tinged with emotion. "And thank you for always believing in me."
The conversation flowed easily as they reminisced about their college days, sharing stories and laughter late into the evening. Plates of delicious food were passed around the table, each dish more exquisite than the last.
