Chapter 63

Everyone had finished eating, and Isa was enjoying her dessert with Sebas. He was talking to her, making her feel comfortable. Every time she would look at Santiago, Sebas would reassure her about it. "Déjalos, Isa. No valen la pena. Seguro que Anastasia solo vino para ver si su vestido no le quedaba demasiado ajustado después de la cena," he said, taking a spoonful of ice cream.

Isa laughed at his comment about Anastasia and turned her attention back to him. "Me gustan tus pecas," she told him, her voice soft and sweet.

Sebastián blushed slightly, thinking, Gracias, a mí me gusta todo de ti, but not wanting to make her uncomfortable, he said, "Gracias, a mí me gustan tus hoyuelos," instead, making her smile and her dimples show.

They finished their dessert, and Sebas stood up, helping Isa stand as well. "¿Te parece si damos una vuelta y charlamos con los demás?" he offered.

She agreed, and they started walking towards Alexis, who had a cup of alcohol in his hand. "¿Ya tan rápido poniendo ambiente?" Sebas asked with a laugh.

"¿Tú qué crees, apa?" He answered, raising his cup.

Isa laughed, and Alexis smiled at her. He handed them some alcohol, and they accepted it. Isa hesitated to drink since she had to take care of her wellbeing.

"Toma, yo te voy a cuidar," Sebastián reassured her, taking a sip of his drink.

She smiled and repeated his action. As they continued to mingle, Isa found herself relaxing and enjoying the evening more, thanks to the efforts of her friends to keep her spirits high. Sebastián and Isa walked around, chatting and laughing with the others. Every now and then, she could feel Santiago's eyes on her, but she tried her best to ignore it and focus on the people who were making her feel valued and appreciated.

As they approached a group of players, Isa felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see Kevin, who had a mischievous grin on his face. "Isa, ¿me cambiaste por Córdova?" he asked, dramatically placing a hand on his heart.

"No Kevin. Ya sabes que tú eres único," she said smiling.

"Más te vale Isa," he said laughing.

Kevin leaned in and whispered, "¿Apoco muy combinada con Sebas?" He teased.

Isa blushed and slightly pushed him back. Kevin laughed at her action and side hugged her.

As the night went on, Isa found herself laughing and enjoying the company of her friends. Sebastián stayed close to her, making sure she was comfortable and safe. Despite the occasional glance from Santiago, Isa felt a sense of happiness and belonging with the group.

Isa had been talking with Monica, Luis's girlfriend, as Sebastián talked with Luis, still keeping an eye on her. "Siento lo que pasó, Isa," Mónica said after hearing what Santiago had done to Isabella.

"No te preocupes, ya voy mejor cada día," she said, smiling.

"¡Hola chicas! ¿Puedo unirme con ustedes?" a squeaky voice said. The girls didn't even have time to react when Anastasia was already sitting next to Isabella. Isa looked at Sebastián and then at Mónica, who were both clearly not enjoying Anastasia's presence.

"¿De qué hablaban chicas?" she asked with her annoying voice. Isa was about to answer until Moni did it first.

"De cosas privadas que no te incumben, con todo respeto," she said firmly.

Isa smiled at her, and Anastasia rolled her eyes. Isa saw Sebastián trying to hold back his laugh. She looked away to avoid Anastasia.

"¿Por qué no hablas, Isabella? ¿Mucho miedo?" Anastasia whispered the last part in her ear.
