As the first rays of dawn crept into the living room, Edson's teammates began to stir. One by one, they woke up to the sound of a female voice singing from the bathroom. Isa was enjoying her morning shower, unaware that her impromptu concert had an audience.
"You say keep our business on the low-low," she sang, her voice clear and melodious. "I'm just tryna get you out the friend zone..."
The boys listened intently, captivated by her singing. Jorge, still groggy but impressed, thought to himself, "A su madre, hasta en inglés canta bien."
The other teammates exchanged glances, each entertained by Isa's unexpected talent and letting their minds wander with various thoughts. Santiago, already smitten with Isa, found himself falling even more in love with her.
Isa continued, oblivious to her audience. "I only call you when it's half-past five, the only time that I'll be by your side. I only love it when you touch me, not feel me, when I'm fucked up, that's the real me."
Her voice carried through the apartment, creating a peaceful yet vibrant atmosphere. The boys, usually rowdy and playful, were quietly appreciating the morning serenade.
Finally, Isa finished her shower, got dressed, and walked into the living room, her hair still damp and a radiant smile on her face.
"Que buen concierto nos diste," Diego said, wrapping her in a hug.
"Sí, deberías ser cantante," Kevin added, grinning.
"No me digan eso porque me lo tomo en serio," Isa replied, laughing as she hugged them back and greeted everyone.
The group gathered, chatting and planning their activities for the day. Ozziel asked, "¿Cuáles son los planes para hoy?"
As the boys discussed various ideas, Santiago found himself quietly staring at Isa, lost in thought. Isa noticed and subtly signaled him to stop. He smiled sheepishly and quickly redirected his attention to the group, joining in on the conversation and engaging with his friends.
The morning continued with a sense of camaraderie and excitement for the day ahead. The bond between the friends felt stronger, and for Santiago and Isa, the unspoken connection they shared added a layer of warmth and anticipation for what the future might hold.
___The morning buzz of conversation soon shifted to the topic of breakfast, and an argument broke out about who would take on the responsibility of cooking.
"Kevin va a cocinar porque él fue el último que se despertó," Diego declared, crossing his arms like a little kid.
"Que mejor cocine Diego porque es el más chaparro," Kevin retorted, sticking his tongue out.
Isa, watching the playful bickering, decided to intervene. "¿Por qué no vamos a desayunar fuera?" she suggested with a smile.
"Es cierto," Edson agreed, relieved at the solution.
"¿Con quién nos vamos? Edson nos trajo a todos," Chucky pointed out.
"Si quieren yo llevo a algunos y que Edson lleve a los demás," Isa offered.
Immediately, the boys began arguing about who would get to ride with Isa. She watched the scene with amusement, her smile widening at their antics.
"En mi carro nada más caben cinco, incluyéndome a mí," she said, trying to bring some order.
"Entonces Kevin, Santi, Diego, y Ozziel van a ir con Isa," Edson decided.
Kevin, Diego, and Ozziel hugged each other and started jumping around in excitement, while Santiago stood off to the side, laughing at their exuberance.
