As they sat on the couch, the glow from the TV flickered across their faces. The aroma of freshly baked pizza still lingered in the air, and their laughter from earlier had softened into a comfortable silence. They were now watching Spider-Man, a classic that always seemed to bring out the best in both of them. Kevin had his arm draped around Isa's shoulders, and she was nestled comfortably against him, her head resting on his chest.
The movie had reached the iconic scene where Peter Parker, upside down, kissed Mary Jane in the rain. Kevin felt a playful idea forming in his mind. He turned to look at Isa, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.
Isa, sensing his gaze, turned her head to meet his eyes. "¿Qué pasó?" she asked, noticing the way his eyes sparkled with that familiar glint of mischief.
Kevin didn't respond immediately. Instead, he let his hand move to cup her cheeks gently, his thumb brushing over her soft skin. Without a word, he leaned in, tilting his head just enough to mimic the upside-down kiss from the movie. He kissed her, capturing her lips with his in a way that was both tender and playful.
Isa's eyes widened slightly in surprise, but she quickly melted into the kiss, her hands moving to rest on his chest. The kiss was slow and deliberate, with Kevin making sure to recreate every bit of that iconic moment. The warmth of his lips against hers made her heart flutter, and for a moment, it felt like time had stopped.
When they finally pulled apart, Isa was left breathless, her cheeks flushed with a mixture of surprise and affection. Kevin, still close, grinned at her, his forehead resting against hers.
"¿Qué tal? ¿Fue tan épico como en la película?" he teased, his voice soft and filled with amusement.
Isa chuckled, her fingers absentmindedly playing with the fabric of his shirt. "Creo que fue mejor," she admitted with a shy smile, her eyes sparkling as she looked up at him.
Kevin's grin widened, clearly pleased with her response. "Siempre quise recrear esa escena," he confessed, his voice low and full of warmth. "Pero contigo es mucho mejor que en cualquier película."
Isa's heart skipped a beat at his words. She playfully rolled her eyes, but her smile gave away how much she loved hearing that. "Bueno, tal vez debí traer una lluvia artificial para que fuera más auténtico," she joked, leaning in to give him a quick peck on the lips.
Kevin laughed, the sound rumbling in his chest. "No necesitamos nada más, con que estés aquí es suficiente," he said sincerely, his eyes holding hers with a depth of emotion that made her blush.
Isa's smile softened, and she leaned her head against his shoulder, feeling a contentment she couldn't quite put into words. "Eres un romántico, Kevin," she teased gently, but there was no mistaking the affection in her tone.
"Nada más para ti, mi amor," Kevin replied, his voice tender as he placed a soft kiss on the top of her head.
They settled back into their comfortable position, but this time, Kevin couldn't resist keeping his hand intertwined with hers, his thumb lazily stroking the back of her hand as they continued watching the movie. Every so often, his gaze would drift back to Isa, and he couldn't help but smile, feeling incredibly lucky to have her by his side.
As the movie played on, Isa found herself sneaking glances at Kevin as well. The warmth in his eyes whenever he looked at her made her heart flutter, and she couldn't help but feel a deep sense of happiness. It was a simple moment, just the two of them on a couch watching a movie, but it was one of those moments that felt perfect in its own way.
Eventually, Kevin leaned down and whispered in her ear, his voice filled with a mix of playfulness and affection. "¿Sabes algo? No necesito ser Spider-Man para saber que ya tengo a mi Mary Jane," he murmured, his words sending a pleasant shiver down her spine.
