As the clock struck midnight, Isa's phone buzzed with a notification. Surprised to see a message from Santiago at such a late hour, she opened Instagram to read his text. Santiago's message simply said, "Necesito hablar contigo."

Confused by the sudden message, Isa felt a mix of curiosity and apprehension. She hesitated for a moment before typing out a reply, "¿Está todo bien, Santiago? ¿Qué pasa?"

As she waited for his response, Isa couldn't help but wonder what could be so urgent that Santiago felt the need to reach out to her in the middle of the night.

As Isa waited for Santiago's reply, her mind raced with various possibilities. Was it about something related to the team, or perhaps something personal?

After a few moments, Santiago's response appeared on her screen. "Necesito hablar contigo en persona. ¿Podemos encontrarnos mañana?"

Isa felt a knot form in her stomach at the thought of meeting Santiago alone. Despite their shared history as teammates, she couldn't shake the feeling of unease.

"Claro, podemos encontrarnos. ¿A qué hora y dónde?" she typed back, trying to sound composed despite her growing apprehension.

As she hit send, Isa couldn't help but wonder what Santiago wanted to talk about and how it would impact their relationship moving forward.

The following day, Isa found herself feeling restless as she awaited Santiago's response. She couldn't shake off the sense of foreboding that had settled over her since receiving his late-night message.

Finally, her phone buzzed with a notification. Santiago had replied, suggesting they meet at a nearby café in the afternoon.

Isa agreed to the meeting, but as the hours ticked by, she couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation. What could Santiago possibly want to discuss that couldn't wait until a more reasonable hour? And why did he insist on meeting in person?

As she arrived at the café, Isa spotted Santiago waiting at a corner table. He looked serious, his expression unreadable. Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, Isa approached him, unsure of what to expect.

As Isa approached Santiago, she noticed the tension in his posture. Santiago stood up as she reached the table, offering a hesitant smile.

"Isa, thanks for meeting me," he said, his voice tinged with nervousness.

"Of course, Santiago. What's on your mind?" Isa replied, trying to sound calm despite her growing curiosity and apprehension.

Santiago took a moment to collect his thoughts before speaking. "I wanted to talk to you about something important," he began, his gaze fixed on the table.

Isa's heart rate quickened as she waited for him to continue. Whatever it was, she could tell it weighed heavily on him.

"Sabes, Isa," Santiago began, his voice filled with sincerity, "last night I couldn't sleep. My thoughts tormented me, telling me that I needed to apologize to you."

Isa listened attentively, surprised by Santiago's confession. "Why do you feel you need to apologize?" she asked, with curiosity and a hint of hope in her voice.

Santiago sighed, searching for the right words. "Since the day Edson introduced you to the team, I didn't treat you the best. I was arrogant, insensitive... and I know that wasn't right."

Isa nodded, understanding the weight of Santiago's words. "I understand," she replied softly, "and I appreciate your honesty."

Santiago looked at Isa, his expression filled with remorse. "I'm sorry, Isa. I truly am sorry for everything."

Isa met his gaze, with a compassionate smile. "Thank you, Santiago. I really appreciate your apology. And I want you to know that we're okay now."

As their conversation continued, Isa and Santiago felt united by a newfound sense of understanding and forgiveness. While they couldn't change the past, they knew they could build a more positive future together.

By the end of their conversation, Isa felt a weight lift off her shoulders. She realized that their meeting had been about closure and reconciliation, rather than the apprehension she had initially felt.

As they parted ways, Isa couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Santiago for his honesty and courage. And although their conversation hadn't been easy, she knew that it marked a new chapter in their relationship, one built on understanding and forgiveness.

The next day, as the team geared up for their match against Germany, Edson noticed Isa's absence from training. Concerned, his teammates asked him about her, their expressions filled with worry.

"¿Dónde está Isa hoy, Edson?" one of them inquired.

Edson paused for a moment before responding, "Está estudiando para sus finales de mañana. Por fin va a graduarse de la universidad."

The team was surprised by his answer and pressed for more information. "¿Qué estudia Isa?" another teammate asked.

Edson smiled proudly. "Es enfermera," he replied.

The team was once again shocked by his revelation, impressed by Isa's dedication and profession.

Later that afternoon, as the team prepared to take the field, the stadium buzzed with excitement. The stands were filled with cheering fans, ready to support their team.

As the Mexican anthem rang out, followed by Germany's, the players felt a surge of adrenaline. The match began, but Mexico found themselves trailing 2-0 at halftime.

During the break, Edson received a call from Isa. Her words of encouragement and support ignited a fire within him.

With renewed determination, Mexico stormed onto the field for the second half. Edson, fueled by Isa's words, played with unmatched intensity. He assisted in a goal and then proceeded to score two himself, leading Mexico to a stunning comeback victory with a final score of 3-2.

As the final whistle blew, the stadium erupted into cheers. Edson's teammates rushed to congratulate him, knowing that Isa's words had played a crucial role in their triumph.

As the team celebrated their victory, Edson couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Isa. Her words of encouragement had been the driving force behind his exceptional performance in the second half.

After the match, Edson made his way to Isa's side, eager to share the news of their triumph with her. He found her waiting outside the stadium, a proud smile on her face.

"¡Isa! ¡Ganamos!" exclaimed Edson, enveloping her in a tight hug.

Isa returned the hug, her eyes shining with pride. "¡Felicidades, Edson! Estoy tan orgullosa de ti," she said, her voice filled with genuine admiration.

Edson grinned, feeling a swell of emotion. "Gracias, Isa. Tus palabras realmente me motivaron hoy," he admitted, his voice tinged with gratitude.

Isa smiled warmly, her heart swelling with happiness for her brother. "Siempre estaré aquí para apoyarte, Edson," she reassured him, her words filled with unwavering support.

As they walked away from the stadium together, Edson couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards his sister. Her unwavering support and encouragement had been the driving force behind his success, both on and off the field. And as they looked towards the future, he knew that with Isa by his side, there was nothing they couldn't accomplish together.
