As Santiago and Anastasia stood up to say their goodbyes, the group began wrapping up their day at the fair.
"Bueno, cuídense, y diviértanse en las atracciones," Uriel said, giving Santiago a brief handshake and a polite nod toward Anastasia.
"Sí, disfruten," Alexis added, patting Santiago's back. "A ver si les da tiempo para subirse a todo."
Luis smirked as he waved, "A ver si aguantan la comida después de tanto giro."
Chucky grinned, his usual playful self, "Ya saben, si se marean, me avisan. Les traigo una bolsita."
"Nos vemos," Edson said simply, giving a small wave.
Santiago nodded to the guys, while Anastasia barely smiled. "Gracias, chicos," she said curtly, looping her arm through Santiago's as they made their way toward the rides.
As the group headed toward the exit doors, Julian walked next to Isa, talking in English. "So, are you still down for the New York trip this winter? I've been checking out spots we could visit."
Isa smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I'm excited! I've been wanting to go for so long."
Diego, who had been listening but only understood bits of the conversation, walked up behind them. "Oye, ¿qué están diciendo? Dime de qué está tan emocionado Julian."
Isa and Julian exchanged glances, their smiles widening. "Oh, Diego, it's a secret," Isa teased, switching back to English, purposefully leaving Diego out of the loop.
Julian chuckled and joined in, "Yeah, it's a surprise. Maybe if you brush up on your English, we'll let you in on it."
Diego groaned dramatically, rolling his eyes. "No mames, Isa, ya dime. ¡Qué coraje!" He pouted, but his smile betrayed his playful attitude.
Meanwhile, Kevin was walking beside Edson, quietly observing the banter ahead. Edson turned to Kevin, giving him a knowing look. "Sabes, serías buen candidato para Isa," Edson said casually, as if dropping a simple observation, but it made Kevin's ears turn red.
Kevin stayed quiet, unsure how to respond. His heart raced as the words settled in.
Edson smirked, enjoying Kevin's reaction. "Te lo digo en serio, imagínate... Así ya no tendría que cambiarse el apellido. Álvarez y Álvarez. Me caes bien, Kevin." He patted Kevin on the back with a teasing grin.
Kevin let out a breath, trying to play it cool. "Pues... podría ser una buena coincidencia," he replied, trying not to smile too much. Then, with a bit more confidence, he added, "Pero el apellido no importa tanto si ya la tengo a ella."
Edson raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed. "Ah, míralo. Ya hablando con seguridad." He laughed, patting Kevin's back again. "Me gusta, Kevin. Así se habla."
As Kevin's gaze drifted over to Isa, he couldn't help but watch her walk alongside Julian and Diego, who were bantering in front of him. She looked so at ease, her laugh contagious as she and Julian teased Diego.
"¡Isa!" Diego complained loudly, nearly tripping as Isa playfully draped her arm over his shoulder and stuck her foot in front of him, causing him to stumble forward. "¡No seas así!" he whined, steadying himself while Julian burst into laughter.
"Bro, she got you good!" Julian laughed, clutching his stomach. "You should've seen your face, Diego!"
Isa turned around at the sound of their laughter, and her eyes landed on Kevin and Edson, who were walking a little behind. She caught Kevin's gaze and gave them both a warm smile that made Kevin's heart skip a beat. Edson, noticing the interaction, chuckled softly to himself.
