As they reached the towering ride, Uriel waved Isa over, "Isa, súbete con nosotros. A aquellos les da miedo," he said with a grin, nodding towards the rest of the group. Jorge stood beside him, also trying to look brave. Isa hesitated, glancing up at the ride, but before she could say no, Uriel grabbed her arm, and Edson gave her a little nudge.
"Ándale, no pasa nada," Edson reassured her, flashing a quick smile.
With a playful sigh, Isa finally agreed. "Bueno, pero si me muero, los jalo conmigo," she teased, letting Uriel and Jorge lead her towards the line. As they passed the group, Kevin caught her eye and shot her a smile, one that made her stomach flip, but she quickly looked away to focus on the ride.
Once at the front of the line, they flashed their unlimited ride bracelets, and the operator waved them through. "¡Vámonos!" Uriel said enthusiastically as they were directed to their seats.
Uriel took the left corner seat while Jorge insisted Isa sit in the middle. "Te ponemos en medio pa' que no salgas volando," Jorge joked, pretending to look concerned.
"Jaja, qué chistoso," Isa responded, rolling her eyes but laughing as she sat down.
They pulled the bar over their laps, but Jorge's face quickly shifted from confident to panicked. "Oigan... esta mamada no traba," he said, trying to pull the bar tighter, his voice suddenly filled with fear.
Isa and Uriel both tugged on their bars, exchanging worried glances. "No, no, sí traba... creo," Uriel said, but his uncertainty wasn't comforting.
The operator came by, giving their bars a quick check before walking off. Jorge wasn't convinced. "Nos vamos a morir, esta chingadera no tiene seguridad," he declared dramatically, causing Isa to chuckle.
"Relájate, Jorge, no pasa nada," Isa tried to calm him down, but even Uriel snickered. "Ya valimos madre," Uriel added, though his voice held more humor than fear.
The ride slowly began its ascent, the anticipation building as they rose higher and higher. The view was incredible, but Isa could feel the tension between the three of them.
Suddenly, the ride stopped at the top, leaving them hanging. "No, no, no... ya me quiero bajar," Jorge muttered, gripping the bar tightly.
Before anyone could respond, the ride dropped unexpectedly, sending them all screaming. "¡Ahhh, hijos de su madre!" Uriel yelled, while Jorge let out a string of curses, "¡No mames, qué pedo!"
Isa, laughing through the chaos, managed to pull out her phone and start recording. "¡No que no!" she shouted as Uriel and Jorge, eyes tightly shut, clung to her and the bar for dear life.
The ride finally came to a stop, and they all took a collective breath. Jorge and Uriel helped Isa out of her seat, both of them looking pale. Isa, on the other hand, couldn't stop laughing.
"No mames, Isa," Uriel said, putting a hand over his heart, "eso estuvo bien cabrón."
Jorge nodded, still catching his breath. "Pensé que me iba a morir, güey. Si mi mamá ve esto, me mata."
Isa smirked and held up her phone. "Pues mírense." She played back the video, and despite their tough exteriors, the sight of their terrified faces broke through. They smiled, but quickly tried to hide it.
"¡No lo vayas a subir, Isa! No me quemes así," Uriel begged, his serious expression returning.
Jorge nodded in agreement, "Sí, no manches, Isa. Quedamos como unos pinches cobardes."
Isa grinned mischievously, tucking her phone away. "Hmm... lo pensaré."
As they made their way back to the group, Isa was still laughing, her amusement contagious as Jorge and Uriel awkwardly trudged beside her. Their disheveled appearance didn't go unnoticed.
