As Diego finally walked off, still grinning, Edson shook his head, turning to Isa with an amused yet exasperated look. "Pinche Diego," he muttered, rubbing his forehead. "Me dan ganas de partirle la madre, pero si lo hago, me quedo sin mi ksimerito," he said, referring to how losing Diego would leave him without his best friend.

Isa burst out laughing at the nickname, her hand covering her mouth. "¿Ksimerito? ¡No manches, Edson!"

Edson cracked a smile but quickly shifted to a playful scolding tone. "Y tú, Isa," he pointed at her. "Deja de darle cuerda al cabrón. ¡Lo traes bien emocionado! Después se le olvida que nomás estás jugando."

Isa grinned, pretending to act innocent. "¿Yo? ¿Darle cuerda? Si él solito se lanza, yo nomás me defiendo."

Edson narrowed his eyes, shaking his head. "Mmm-hmm. No te hagas. Sabes que cuando te sigue el juego, se pone peor. Y luego me toca a mí soportarlo." He lightly flicked her arm.

Isa giggled and shrugged. "No es mi culpa que sea tan fácil de molestar."

Edson sighed, though there was a fondness in his tone. "A veces no sé quién es peor, si tú por molestarlo o él por no saber cuándo parar." He paused, then added more seriously, though still with a hint of humor, "Pero de verdad, Isa, cuidado con Diego. Sé que es broma... pero a veces pienso que el wey se lo está tomando muy en serio."

Isa smiled, knowing Edson was looking out for her but also aware that he didn't mean it entirely. "Ya sé, Edson. No te preocupes. Conozco a Diego, y sé cuándo es solo show."

Edson shook his head again, half-amused, half-serious. "Más te vale, porque si no... bueno, ya sabes lo que pasa si Diego se pasa de listo."

Isa chuckled, giving her brother a light shove. "Sí, sí, ya entendí. Prometo no dejar que se emocione tanto."

"Más te vale," Edson replied, before giving her a smile. "Pero en serio, gracias. Porque si le parto la madre, sí me quedo sin mi ksimerito."

Both of them shared a laugh, knowing Edson's teasing always came from a place of protectiveness, even if Diego was like family.

Edson draped his arm over Isa's shoulder, guiding her towards Julian, who was casually juggling a ball near the sidelines. As they approached, Julian greeted them with a grin. "¡Hey, Isa! ¿Qué tal, Edson?"

"Todo bien, bro," Edson replied with a nod, and Isa smiled, giving Julian a playful wave.

"¿Y qué, Edson? ¿Te vas a animar a ir con nosotros a Nueva York en diciembre o qué?" Julian asked, pausing his juggling to glance at Edson with a raised eyebrow.

Edson scratched his chin, thinking about it for a second. "Pues... suena bien, pero no sé todavía."

Julian chuckled and added, "Puedes traerte a Sofía también, no hay problema." He flashed a teasing grin at Edson, who nodded thoughtfully.

"Va, lo voy a pensar," Edson said, dapping Julian up as the two shared a knowing smile. Julian then turned to Isa, offering her the same bright grin. "Y tú, Isa, ¿ya lista para el viaje?"

Isa laughed softly, knowing they had already discussed it. "Sí, ya estoy más que lista. Nos va a caer de lujo."

"Me alegra, va a estar buenísimo," Julian replied, before their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of Kevin, who jogged up to them with a determined look on his face.

"Hey, Edson, ¿me puedo llevar a Isa un momento?" Kevin asked, his gaze briefly flickering between Edson and Isa, though it lingered on her for a second longer.

Edson smirked, sensing where this was going. "Claro que sí, bro. Llévatela todas las veces que quieras... pero me la traes pa' tras," he joked, raising his eyebrows at Kevin, who chuckled and nodded.
