After the training, Isabella was surrounded by a group of younger players who were eager to get to know her.
"Hey, are you Edson's sister?" one of them asked excitedly.
Isabella nodded with a smile, feeling happy to meet them. "Yes, I am. Nice to meet you all," she replied warmly.
The young players bombarded her with questions, wanting to know more about her. Isabella happily answered, enjoying the chance to chat with her brother's teammates.
But suddenly, Edson's voice broke through the conversation.
"Hey, she's off limits for everyone," he said firmly.
Some of the younger players grumbled, but they backed off, respecting Edson's words.
Isabella felt a little disappointed. She wanted to make her own friends on the team, without her brother's rules getting in the way.
Feeling determined, Isabella decided to approach Santiago. She hoped to become friends with him, but he ignored her, making her feel rejected.
As Isabella walked away from the field, she felt a mix of emotions. She wanted to connect with Santiago and the rest of the team, but it seemed harder than she thought.
As Isabella Alvarez stood near the field after the training session, chatting with some of the younger players, she was approached by Diego Lainez and Sebastian Cordova, two of the team's rising stars.
"¡Hola, Isabella! ¿Cómo estás?" Diego greeted her with a charming smile.
"¡Hola, Diego y Sebastian! Estoy bien, gracias. ¿Y ustedes?" Isabella replied, returning their smiles.
Diego and Sebastian exchanged mischievous glances before Sebastian spoke up. "Isabella, ¿tienes novio?" he asked playfully.
Isabella laughed, feeling a blush rise to her cheeks. "No, no tengo novio," she replied with shyness.
Diego grinned, leaning in closer. "Entonces, ¿puedo invitarte a salir?" he teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
Isabella giggled, feeling flattered by their attention. "Quizás," she teased back, enjoying their playful banter.
The two young men continued to ask Isabella questions, their flirtatious remarks drawing giggles and laughter from her. Despite her initial fear, Isabella found herself enjoying their company, feeling a sense of mutual trust and friendship growing between them.
However, as their conversation continued, Isabella couldn't help but notice Santiago watching them from a distance, his expression unreadable. She felt a weight of guilt, wondering if their playful interaction was adding to the tension between them.
As the sun began to set and the players started to leave, Diego and Sebastian bid Isabella farewell with promises to see her again soon.
"¡Hasta luego, Isabella! Fue un placer conocerte," Diego called out, flashing her one last charming smile.
Isabella waved goodbye, feeling a sense of warmth and happiness lingering in her heart.
