"Gera," Isa called out softly when she opened her eyes, still trying to process the sensation of his arm around her waist.
"Hmm," came a sleepy response from him.
"¿Puedes mover tu mano? Quiero ir al baño," Isa said, trying to sound casual despite her racing heart.
"Un ratito más," Gera murmured, hugging Isa tighter and pulling her closer.
Isa was about to protest, but she felt Gerardo's steady breath on her neck, sending shivers down her spine. She shifted slightly, trying to get comfortable without waking him. The warmth from his body was oddly comforting.
"Gera, en serio, necesito ir al baño," Isa whispered, trying once more.
"No te vayas, Isa. Un ratito más," Gera mumbled, half-asleep. His grip tightened slightly, and Isa felt herself being drawn closer.
She sighed, realizing that Gerardo was not fully awake. She decided to give in for a moment, hoping he would release her soon. But instead, she felt another sensation – a hand from the other side.
"Luis," she whispered, hoping he too was asleep and wouldn't notice the awkward situation. She didn't receive any response from Luis, who seemed deeply asleep. She could feel his hand resting lightly on her thigh, adding to her confusion.
Minutes ticked by slowly as Isa lay there, trapped between her two friends. She tried to relax and focus on the warmth and security she felt. Her mind wandered, trying to understand the dynamics between the three of them.
"Gera," Isa tried again, a bit louder this time.
"Hmm," he responded again, this time more awake.
"De verdad, Gera, necesito ir al baño," Isa said, her voice tinged with urgency.
"Un ratito más," Gera said again, hugging Isa even tighter. She felt his breath on her neck again, which sent another wave of shivers down her spine. She could feel his heart beating steadily against her back.
Isa sighed and decided to wait it out, closing her eyes and trying to find some peace in the situation. She was just starting to doze off when she heard Gera's voice again.
"Ya puedes ir al baño," Gerardo finally said, his voice gentle as he let go of her and replaced her with a pillow between his legs.
Isa slipped out of the makeshift bed quietly, feeling a mixture of relief and confusion. She headed to the bathroom, her heart still pounding from the unexpected closeness. As she splashed water on her face, she tried to make sense of her feelings. She took a deep breath and returned to the living room.
When she got back, she saw that both Luis and Gerardo had shifted slightly, now facing away from each other. Isa smiled to herself, realizing how protective and caring her friends were, even if it caused some tension between them. She lay back down in the middle, trying to find a comfortable spot, and eventually drifted back to sleep, surrounded by her friends.
____Each guy went to fix their bed where they slept, while Isa, Luis, and Gera organized the living room. Isa folded the blankets neatly and placed them in a corner of the couch.
"Isa, me ayudas a hacer el desayuno?" Kevin asked.
Isa nodded and followed Kevin to the kitchen. Soon, the guys came in and saw how breakfast was being prepared. Edson started making the eggs, and Luis joined Isa to make pancakes, while the rest either cleaned or chatted.
As Isa and Luis worked side by side, Luis suddenly got a mischievous look in his eye. "Isa," he called out.
When she turned around, he blew a bit of pancake mix on her. "¡Luis!" Isa exclaimed, her voice a mix of surprise and annoyance. She grabbed a handful of mix and started chasing him around the kitchen.
