Isa woke up, the early morning light filtering through the curtains. She glanced at the clock; it was still pretty early, but she couldn't sleep anymore. She quietly tried to slip out of bed, careful not to wake Kevin. Just as she started to move, a strong hand wrapped around her waist, pulling her back.
"No te vayas, amor," Kevin mumbled, his voice thick with sleep. His eyes remained closed, but his grip on her tightened, pulling her closer until his body was pressed against hers. He nestled his head into the crook of her neck, breathing her in deeply, a small smile playing on his lips.
Isa's heart skipped a beat, and a flush crept up her cheeks at the sound of the word "amor" slipping from Kevin's lips. It felt intimate, almost surreal, to hear him call her that. Her heart was beating fast, her body responding to the warmth and security of being wrapped in his arms.
"¿Estás nerviosa?" Kevin teased, his deep voice sending shivers down her spine. He had felt her heartbeat quicken beneath his hand, and the realization brought a lazy, satisfied grin to his face.
Isa's cheeks burned even hotter, and she stammered out a reply, "¿Cómo no estarlo? Después de todo... anoche..." Her voice trailed off, the memories of their night together flooding back, making her pulse race even faster.
Kevin's smile widened as he pulled her even closer, his chest rumbling with a low chuckle. "Fue más de lo que alguna vez imaginé," he whispered against her skin, his lips brushing her neck softly, sending another wave of warmth through her.
As Kevin held her, the memories of last night danced between them—moments of passion, tenderness, and a connection that felt unbreakable. His hand traced gentle patterns on her back as if grounding the reality of what they had shared.
Isa felt the tension in her body slowly ebb away as she melted into his embrace. The comfort of his arms and the steady rhythm of his breathing soothed her, and before long, her eyelids grew heavy once more. Her heart continued to beat fast, but it was no longer out of nervousness—it was out of pure love.
Kevin felt her breathing even out as she fell back asleep. He smiled to himself, his heart swelling with the overwhelming love he felt for her. Last night had changed everything for him, solidifying what he had known deep down for a long time. Isa was the one he wanted, the one he would cherish and protect.
As he lay there with Isa in his arms, Kevin felt a sense of peace he had never known before. He pressed a soft kiss to the top of her head and whispered, "Dormimos un poco más, mi amor," before closing his eyes and letting sleep claim him once again. The morning would come soon enough, but for now, all that mattered was holding Isa close, feeling her warmth, and knowing she was his.

Isa woke up about an hour later, her senses slowly coming to life as the memories of the previous night floated back into her mind. She turned her head slightly, watching Kevin sleep peacefully beside her, his features relaxed and softened in the morning light. A tender smile tugged at her lips as she recalled how he had made her feel—loved, cherished, and entirely his.
Careful not to wake him, Isa slipped out of bed and padded softly to the restroom. As she undressed for her shower, she caught sight of herself in the mirror, noticing the faint marks Kevin had left on her skin. They were mostly hidden, except for a few on her neck, just visible enough to serve as a reminder of their passionate night together. She blushed slightly at the sight but also felt a sense of warmth and intimacy.
She turned on the shower, letting the warm water cascade over her as she began her usual routine. The steam filled the bathroom, and as she washed away the remnants of sleep, she found herself smiling at the thought of Kevin. Once she finished, she wrapped herself in a towel, changed into fresh clothes, and headed downstairs to start breakfast.
