Wednesday arrived, and Isa had planned to spend the day in her bedroom, trying to find solace in the familiar confines of her space. She curled up in her bed, surrounded by soft blankets and pillows, hoping to distract herself from the relentless thoughts that plagued her mind.

She picked up her phone, scrolling through social media, trying to find some semblance of normalcy. The supportive comments on her recent Instagram post brought a small, fleeting smile to her face, but it quickly faded as the reality of her situation sank back in.

Her thoughts wandered back to the previous night. Santiago's words kept echoed in her mind, each one like a dagger to her heart. "Ya hay alguien más." The pain of betrayal felt fresh and raw, and she couldn't shake the image of him with Anastasia from her mind.

A soft knock on her door interrupted her thoughts. "Isa, ¿puedo entrar?" It was Sofía, her voice gentle and full of concern.

"Sí, entra," Isa replied, sitting up in bed and wiping away a stray tear.

Sofía entered the room, carrying a tray with tea and some snacks. She placed it on the bedside table and sat down next to Isa. "Pensé que podrías necesitar algo para comer. ¿Cómo te sientes?"

Isa sighed, hugging her knees to her chest. "No muy bien, Sofi. Todo esto me tiene tan cansada. Quiero olvidarlo, pero no puedo."

Sofía reached out and took Isa's hand. "Es normal sentirte así, Isa. Lo que pasó fue muy doloroso, y tomará tiempo sanar. Pero estoy aquí para ti, y también lo está Edson. No estás sola."

Isa nodded, feeling a wave of gratitude for her sister-in-law's kindness. "Gracias, Sofi. En serio, no sé qué haría sin ustedes."

"Vamos a pasar el día juntas, ¿te parece? Podemos ver películas, hablar, lo que necesites," Sofía suggested with a warm smile.

Isa managed a small smile in return. "Me gustaría eso. Gracias por estar aquí."

They spent the day together, watching movies and talking about everything and nothing. The support and companionship helped Isa feel a little lighter, even if just for a while. As the day turned into evening, she realized that, despite the heartache, she had people who cared deeply for her, and that gave her a glimmer of hope for the days to come.

"Isa, prepárate," Sofi told her all of a sudden.

"¿Por qué?" Isa asked, really confused.

Sofi took Isa to her room and sat her on the bed. "Ten, ponte esto," she said, handing her an outfit. Isa didn't understand anything but did as she was told and came out of the restroom dressed in the outfit Sofi had picked.

"¡Qué guapa!" Sofía complimented her.

"Gracias, ¿Puedo saber a dónde vamos?" Isa asked, still confused.

"¿Vamos? No, no. Vas," Sofi told her. "Ya llegó tu compañero," she said as she took Isa downstairs. Isa looked at her confused, and just as she was about to speak, Sofi interrupted by saying goodbye.

Isa went outside and saw Kevin standing by his car. He looked at her with a smile and hugged her tightly. "Isa, te extrañé," he told her, digging his face into her neck.

"Yo también, Kev," she said, smiling. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and then stepped back.

"Sube," he said, opening the car door and letting her in.

Sofi watched from the living room window, her heart happy for Isa. The sight of her dear friend getting a moment of happiness amidst her turmoil was a relief. Isa settled into the passenger seat, feeling a mix of anticipation and gratitude. Kevin started the car, and as they drove off, she realized that no matter how tough things got, she had friends who would always be there to lift her up.

As they drove, Kevin handed Isa a small bag. "Te traje unos snacks," he said with a smile.

Isa opened the bag and found a few of her favorite treats. "Kevin, no tenías que hacerlo," she said, touched by his thoughtfulness.

"Claro que sí. Sabía que te levantaría el ánimo," Kevin replied, glancing at her with a warm smile.

Isa took out a chocolate bar and unwrapped it. "¿Cómo has estado?" she asked, taking a bite.

Kevin sighed. "Preocupado por ti, Isa. No sabes cuánto me preocupaste la otra noche. Hasta lloré, pensando en dónde podrías estar."

Isa's eyes softened. "Perdón, Kevin. No quería preocupar a nadie. Solo necesitaba estar sola."

"Lo entiendo," Kevin said, reaching over to squeeze her hand. "Solo quiero que sepas que estoy aquí para ti, siempre."

They drove in comfortable silence for a bit, enjoying each other's company. Kevin reached for the radio and turned it on, and a familiar song played. "¿Te acuerdas de esta canción?" he asked, a smile spreading across his face.

"¡Claro! Bailamos con ella en la fiesta de Agus," Isa said, laughing.

Kevin laughed too. "Fue una noche divertida. Aunque creo que todos estaban más pendientes de los tacos que del baile."

Isa nodded, reminiscing. "Esos tacos eran legendarios."

Kevin handed her another snack, and they shared it, joking about the silly things that had happened during that party.

"¿Sabes? No podía dejar de pensar en ti, incluso durante la práctica," Kevin confessed. "Siempre me preocupo por ti."

Isa felt a warmth in her chest. "Gracias, Kevin. Realmente significa mucho para mí saber que te importa tanto."

Kevin smiled. "Siempre, Isa. Siempre."
