Chapter 37

Isa came home to a surprise. As soon as she walked through the door, Edson's teammates jumped towards her and engulfed her in a group hug. Kevin was the one who wouldn't let go, clinging to her tightly.

"¿Qué hacen aquí?" she said, her eyes wide with surprise.

"Te extrañamos en las prácticas, ya nos abandonaste," Chucky said, joining in for another hug.

Isa laughed, "Les dije que sin mí no podían vivir," she teased, as she continued hugging the rest of the guys.

The team began recounting how practice had been since she started working on Monday and how they missed her presence.

"No ha sido lo mismo sin ti," Diego said. "No hay nadie para hacernos sonreír."

"Sí, y los entrenamientos se sienten más largos," añadió Luis. "Nadie nos echa porras."

"Algún día iré a visitarlos," Isa assured them with a warm smile. "Pero ahora, ¿qué tal si jugamos algo?"

Edson suggested, "¿Verdad o reto?" looking at Sebastián.

"Verdad," Sebastián replied.

The room filled with groans and complaints.

"Desde que empezamos a jugar has escogido pura verdad," Kevin said.

"Pues sí, wey, si digo reto me ponen a hacer algo culero," Sebastián defended himself.

"Bueno, ¿qué prefieres, pasar una noche en una casa embrujada o salir con tu peor enemigo?" Edson asked.

Sebastián thought for a moment. "Prefiero la casa embrujada, al menos los fantasmas no hablan," he said, making everyone laugh.

They kept playing, and soon it was Kevin's turn. He spun the bottle, and it landed on Isa. Kevin smirked and asked her, "Isa, ¿verdad o reto?" with a mischievous smile.

Isa was apprehensive about what Kevin could come up with. "Reto," she said, bracing herself.

The whole room fell silent, waiting for Kevin's dare.

"Te reto a llamar a Santi y decirle que le extrañas mucho y que no puedes dejar de pensar en él," Kevin said with a grin.

Isa's eyes widened, but she accepted the dare. She picked up her phone and dialed Santi's number. The team watched in anticipation as the phone rang.

"Hola, Santi," Isa said when he answered. "Sólo quería decirte que te extraño mucho y que no puedo dejar de pensar en ti."

There was a brief silence on the other end before Santi replied, sounding flustered but pleased, "Yo también te extraño, Isa."

Isa hung up the phone, her cheeks flushed. The room erupted in cheers and laughter.

"¡Lo hiciste!" Edson said, giving her a high five.

They continued playing the game, laughing and teasing each other, making the most of their evening together.

As the game continued, the atmosphere in the room was filled with laughter and playful banter. They played several more rounds of Truth or Dare, each dare more outrageous and funny than the last. The camaraderie among them was evident, and Isa felt truly grateful for having such supportive friends.

After a while, they decided to switch to a different game. "Let's play charades!" Edson suggested, and everyone agreed enthusiastically.

They divided into teams and started acting out various phrases and movie titles. Isa's team was doing particularly well, thanks to her expressive gestures and quick thinking.
