Kevin arrived at the Álvarez household and quickly sent a text to Isa, letting her know he was outside. Within moments, he heard the sound of hurried footsteps, and soon enough, Isa appeared at the door, a wide smile on her face.
"¡Kevin!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around him in a tight hug.
Kevin laughed, noticing how quickly she had run downstairs. "Isa, tú haces todo menos reposar," he teased, shaking his head with a grin.
Isa chuckled, brushing off his concern. "No puedo con estar de floja todo el día," she replied with a playful shrug before leading him inside. "¿Quieres algo de comer o tomar?"
"Estoy bien, gracias," Kevin said, following her upstairs.
"¿Cómo te fue?" Isa asked as they reached her room.
"Me fue bien," Kevin began, "aunque Uriel y Edson no paraban de molestarme."
Isa raised an eyebrow, a hint of curiosity in her eyes. "¿Por qué?"
Kevin smiled sheepishly. "Porque no dejaba de sonreír y andaba con mucha energía."
"¿Y quién te traía tan sonriente?" Isa asked, pretending not to know as she playfully smirked.
Kevin locked eyes with her, his gaze warm and flirtatious. "Tú," he replied with a smirk, adding, "Siempre eres tú, Isa."
Isa chuckled softly, feeling her cheeks warm slightly at his words. Kevin couldn't help but smile at the sound of her laughter—it was like music to his ears, soothing and uplifting.
"Entonces, ¿les dijiste que besaste a una chica?" Isa asked, reading him easily.
Kevin laughed nervously and nodded. "Sí"
Isa's expression turned thoughtful. "¿Saben quién es?"
Kevin shook his head, though his expression became more serious. "No, pero Edson casi me mata con la mirada. Creo que tiene sospechas."
Isa nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Tienes que ser más cuidadoso, Kev," she teased, giving him a playful nudge.
Kevin laughed nervously again, feeling a bit of relief that Edson hadn't figured things out yet. Isa lay down on her bed, and Kevin did the same beside her. They both settled into a comfortable silence, the kind that didn't need to be filled with words.
After a while, Isa sat up and glanced down at Kevin. "¿Quieres hacer algo?" she asked, clearly bored.
Kevin nodded. "Sí, ¿qué tienes en mente?"
Isa began listing off her options. "Tengo uno, monopoly y jenga."
Kevin thought for a moment. "Vamos a jugar jenga," he decided with a grin.
Isa smiled, reaching under her bed to retrieve the Jenga box. She placed it on the bed and scooted her nightstand closer, using it as a makeshift table. Together, they began building the tower, carefully stacking the wooden blocks.
"Hay que ponerle diversión," Kevin suggested as they worked.
"¿Cómo qué?" Isa asked, intrigued.
Isa's eyes sparkled with interest. "Jalo" she agreed, her competitive spirit kicking in.
Once the tower was complete, Isa gestured for Kevin to take the first block. He carefully removed one from the middle, and Isa followed, taking her turn. They went back and forth, removing blocks one by one, the tower growing more unstable with each move.
