As the night progressed, the atmosphere at the club grew livelier, fueled by the flowing drinks and upbeat music. Almost everyone in the group was now fully immersed in the party spirit, with some of the guys mustering the courage to strike up conversations with the girls on the dance floor.

Meanwhile, Isabella found herself taking on the role of a vigilant guardian, keeping a watchful eye on her brother Edson as he danced with reckless abandon. Amidst the pulsating beats and swirling lights, she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride mixed with concern for his well-being.

"¿Cómo estás, Isa?" she heard a familiar voice inquire. Turning around, she saw Santiago approaching with a smile.

"Estoy bien, Santi, ¿y tú?" she replied, returning his smile.

"Me la estoy pasando bien," he replied, his eyes sparkling with merriment.

There was a moment of comfortable silence between them until one of Miazga's friends approached Isabella and Santiago, slipping a piece of paper into her hand. Isa accepted it with a mixture of mystery and confusion, unfolding it to reveal a flirtatious message: "Call me later ;) XXX-XXX-XXXX."

"¿Qué dice?" Santiago asked, leaning in to get a closer look.

Isabella's expression turned incredulous as she read the message aloud, her lips curling into a smirk. "Estará pendejo ese wey," Santiago commented, shaking his head in amusement.

Deciding to have a little fun, Isabella folded the paper and casually placed it in a nearby glass, where it quickly became submerged in the melting ice and spilled drinks, causing the ink from the pen to smear irreparably.

Miazga watched the exchange with a mixture of disbelief and irritation, his eyes narrowing in on Isabella. But instead of feeling intimidated, she met his gaze head-on and winked mischievously, a silent challenge in her eyes.

As the clock struck 2 am, Isabella knew it was time to take charge and get her brothers teammates home before their early morning practice at 7 am. With a sigh, she rounded them up and ushered them out of the club, herding them into her car one by one.

As she drove, some of her teammates couldn't resist flirting with her, their drunken antics ranging from cheesy pickup lines to playful banter.

"Hey, Isa, did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Because you must be an angel," slurred Diego with a drunken grin.

Isabella chuckled at his attempt at charm, rolling her eyes playfully as she focused on the road ahead.

Upon arriving at her and Edson's shared house, Isabella carefully guided her teammates into the living room, promising to fetch them water to help sober them up.

"Ahorita les traigo agua para que se les baje," she assured them, earning a grateful "gracias, hermosa" from Jorge.

Returning with cups of water, Isabella watched as her friends eagerly gulped down the liquid, as if it were the elixir of life itself.

"Cálmense, el agua no se va a ningún lado," she chided with a laugh, amused by their antics.

Once they were slightly more coherent, Isabella distributed blankets and inflatable beds, instructing them to get comfortable for the night.

"Acomódense para que se duerman," she said, adopting a maternal tone as she tucked them in.

"Si, mamá," Edson replied with a hint of sarcasm, earning a playful swat on the arm from Isabella.

As the reality of their early practice sank in, complaints began to surface among the group.

"Ya son las 2:45 am y tenemos práctica mañana," grumbled Sebastián, voicing the sentiments of the group.

Isabella escorted Edson to his room, gently guiding him to bed before returning to the living room to keep watch over  the group until they all drifted off to sleep.

"Sleep well, Ed," she whispered, brushing a strand of hair from his forehead before quietly slipping out of the room.

Remaining with the group a while longer, Isabella finally allowed herself to relax once she was sure they were all sound asleep, grateful for the chance to take care of her teammates, even in their most vulnerable moments.

As the first rays of dawn filtered through the windows, Isabella was already up and about, bustling around the kitchen as she prepared breakfast for the group. The enticing aroma of food soon wafted through the air, stirring the rest of the house from their slumber.

Santiago, drawn by the delicious scent, emerged from the living room with a yawn, greeting Isabella with a warm smile. "Buenos días, Isa!" he greeted cheerfully.

"Buenos días, Santi," Isabella replied, returning his smile. "¿Qué haces?" he asked, curious about her early morning activity.

"Estoy haciendo el desayuno," she replied, gesturing towards the array of ingredients laid out on the counter. "¿Quieres que te ayude?"

"¡Sí, por favor!" Santiago nodded eagerly, eager to lend a hand. Isabella handed him a bowl of strawberries and instructed him to slice them.

As Isabella busied herself with mixing pancake batter, Santiago couldn't resist the urge to playfully flick a bit of batter onto her cheek. "Santii, me acabo de bañar," she protested with a laugh.

"¡Perdóname, Isa!" Santiago exclaimed, rushing to grab a napkin and gently wiping the batter from her face. Isabella couldn't help but admire Santiago's caring gesture, feeling a warmth spread through her chest as she looked into his eyes.

"Me gustan tus ojitos verdes," she admitted with a shy smile, feeling her cheeks flush with embarrassment.

"A mí me encantan tus ojitos verdes también," Santiago replied, his own smile widening as he met her gaze.

As they continued their morning routine, the rest of the group began to stir, drawn by the delicious smells emanating from the kitchen. Edson, with his tousled hair and groggy expression, couldn't help but tease his sister when he saw her and Santiago working together.

"Eyeyey, ¿qué hacen aquí muy juntitos y solos?" he joked, earning a playful swat from Isabella.

"Estamos preparando el desayuno, y no estamos solos, Omar," Isabella retorted, gesturing towards the rest of the group who were now gathering around the table.

After receiving compliments on the delicious breakfast from the team, they all dug in eagerly, savoring every bite before heading off to practice. As they left the house, Isabella couldn't shake the feeling of warmth and closeness she had experienced with Santiago, a feeling that lingered long after they had departed for the training ground.
