Siempre te voy a querer

Chapter 22

Today, Isa went with Edson to his practice. Some of Edson's teammates rode with her while others rode with her brother. At the practice, Isa was greeted warmly by everyone and took a seat next to the players who were taking a break.

"Hola Ozziel," she said.

"Hola Isa," he replied.

Ozziel started telling Isa how he saw her with Santiago in the morning, hiding the fact that he was a little hurt by it. Isa noticed his strange behavior and decided to ask him.

"¿Todo bien? Te veo raro," she asked.

"Sisi, todo bien," Ozziel said with a thumbs up.

Soon, Ozziel changed positions with Santiago and went back onto the pitch to train. Santiago took a seat next to Isa and started talking to her.

"¿Tienes planes para hoy, Isa?" he asked.

"Necesito comprar ropa para el verano," she said while looking at him.

"Yo igual, ¿quieres ir conmigo?" he asked.

"Claro, Santi," she replied.

"Bueno, te paso a recoger a las 3," he said.

"Vale," Isa confirmed.

After a while, the team finished practice and everyone headed home. Isa drove some of the guys to their houses since they didn't have their cars with them.

"Llévame a mi casa, Isa," Kevin said.

"No estás en una película, Kevin, no soy adivina para saber dónde está tu casa," she said laughing, which caused Santiago and Diego to laugh too.

After Kevin was dropped off, Diego was next. Once Isa had dropped off everyone, she went home to rest for a bit. Some hours passed, and Isa started getting ready to go with Santi.

"Edson! Voy a ir con Santiago a comprar ropa para el verano. ¿Quieres que te traiga algo?" she called out.

"Está bien, Isa, no se vayan a deschongar. Me traes el perfume de Valentino Milano, que sea el negro, por favor," Edson replied.

"Okey, nos vemos luego!" Isa said.

"Cuídate, Isabella," Edson said.

Isa left the house and got into Santi's car. He told her that she looked good, and she complimented him back. They went to the plaza and started shopping and sharing laughter. Isa went to Victoria's Secret while Santi followed behind her, looking down at his phone. Isa was looking at the swimsuits when Santiago spoke up.

"Este se vería bien en ti," he said, then thought to himself, (oh shoot, I messed up).

"Gracias, Santi," she replied and took the bikini set. She grabbed some body mists and lotions and went to the checkout. Santi immediately swiped his card to pay for her stuff, earning a complaint from Isa.

"Santi, no tenías que hacer eso," she said.

"Es un regalo, Isa. No te preocupes," he replied with a smile.

"Bueno, pero la próxima vez no te dejaré," she said, half-serious, half-smiling.

They left the store and continued shopping, enjoying each other's company and sharing more laughter.

Isa was picking out Edson's perfume when Santi got curious and asked her, "¿Es para tu novio?"

She laughed and said, "No Santi, es para Edson."

"Ohhh," he replied, understanding now. They continued shopping, enjoying each other's company. Santi entered a store and started looking at the summer shirts that were nicely folded on a table.
