Chapter 46

HER POV

FRIDAY

"I'll see you later, tell me how it went" Lia said to me before she walked away

She headed to her english class while I entered mine

Today was the day of our english and chemistry final exam

English was up first

As I entered the classroom I searched for Ares and found him in the back of the class

'that's odd' I thought to myself

I sat down in the front row and just a second later I took out my phone to text Ares

ME: "why are you sitting at the back of the class?"

FRECKLASS: "last time I was sitting next to you you kept on looking over to see if I'm already finished or not. I just want you to block me out of your mind when you're solving your exam sheet"

So he noticed

ME: "fine, good luck on your exam then"

FRECKLASS: "you'll be the one needing luck, I have an advantage after all"

I turned back to look at him after reading the text

He locked eyes with me before bringing his hand up and planting a kiss on my hair tie on his wrist

I turned back around before my smile got the chance to form on my face

FRECKLASS: "just keep calm, don't forget what we studied and focus on your sheet and your sheet only, you'll do great I'm sure of it"

ME: "thank you <3"

A minute went by then two, no response

I looked back at him

He was blushing ear to ear, his eyes glued to his phone

I wanted to text him something, tease him a little but before I got the chance to do that our english teacher walked in

"I want all of your phones on my desk, your bags put away and nothing but a pen on your desk" she said

We did as she said and after we each got our exam sheet

"you can start" is all we were waiting for

I opened my exam and laid my eyes upon the first exercise

I took a deep breath and then exhaled to calm down my nerves before I picked up my pen and started solving the exercise

"I don't even have an appetite" Liam said as he put down the fork

"come on, you barely touched your food" Lia said

"I don't feel like eating"

I glanced to the clock on the wall of the school's dining room

6 minutes were left before we had to head to our chemistry class and get over with our final exam

I felt someone nudge my arm so I looked away from the clock and to Ares who was sitting next to me
