XX - About Her

Uno's POV

Umupo ako sa gilid ng kama at kinuha ang sigarilyo ko. Sinindihan ko iyon tsaka humithit hanggang maubos. Hindi na ako nag-abala na magdamit pa. Sa gilid ko ay ang nakahigang si Vanessa. Katatapos lang nang isang mapusok na pagtatalik.

I just met her last night and here we are, having sex nonstop. I found out that she just recently broke up with her ex. Wala naman ako pakialam. I just need to be close to her to get some informations. To be honest, she's not bad after all. I just don't want her to think that whatever happened between us will move on to the next level. I don't want that.

"What happened to your friend? What's her name again?" Paguumpisa kong magtanong. Lumingon ako sakanya at nakita ko siyang nakapikit pero nakangiti ang kaniyang mga labi. I wonder what's in her mind. Ngayon ko lang narealize na ang cute niya pala pag ngumingiti.

"Si Sandra? Oh! She's fine. I called her earlier." Sagot niya sakin. Inalis ko ang tingin ko sakanya. I have to set aside my physical attraction to her.  I want this to be done as soon as possible. After this, I'll be gone. I won't ever show my face to her again.

"Oh. Yung sumundo sakanya kagabi, boyfriend niya iyon?" Tanong ko ulit. Kailangan ko malaman kung sino yung lalaking yon. Kung hindi lang kay Ben talaga, I would not do this. I never expect him to go crazy over a girl he just met in a club. Malaki lang talaga ang utang na loob ko sakanya that's why I'm doing everything he ask me to do.

"Di ko nga alam eh. He looks exactly her dad pero I just found out her dad is not her real dad. Well, it's a long story." She answered. Kung iaanalyze ko yung sinabi ni Vanessa, yung sumundo kay Sandra is her not real dad's brother? Tama kaya ako ng intindi? Why is he there last night? Something is not right.

"So the guy from last night is her dad's brother? Tama ba? So basically, si Sandra is not related to that guy last night?" Pagklaklaro ko sakanya. Gusto ko malaman kung tama mga information na nakukuha ko. If they are not related, bakit yung guy yung sumundo kay Sandra? Where is Ethan, her dad? Parang ang complicated naman.

"Yes. From what I remember sa kwento ni Sandra kagabi, his name is Ezekiel and he is just a guardian dahil syempre patay na si Ethan. They are living together in one roof. Ang dami kasing naganap these past few months sakanya." Dagdag niya sa kwento niya. Doon na ako tuluyang napalingon sakanya. Her stories are getting interesting. So Sandra's dad which is Ethan I believed, is already dead? And the one who's taking care of her is Ethan's brother which is Ezekiel? Hmmm. I smell something fishy right there.

"Who is Sandra's real dad?" Curious na tanong ko sakanya. Doon lang dumilat ang kaniyang mga mata at tsaka sinalubong ang tingin ko. Her face becomes serious. Napalunok ako sa paraan ng pagtitig niya. Masyado ba akong nagmukhang interesado and she just noticed kaya na yun ang pakay ko sakanya? Ang magtanong sa buhay ni Sandra. Damn it! I'm not being careful.

"Good question. I don't know." Simpleng sagot niya. Napabuga ako ng hangin. Biglang guminhawa yung paghinga ko. Akala ko naging obvious ako. Kinabahan pa ako. "She didn't told me." Dagdag pa niya. She looked at me seriously. I don't see any hint that she's fooling around. Mukha naman siyang nagsasabi ng totoo.

I don't think I need to know Sandra's biological father. Sabi ni Ben, I need to know who is the guy from last night and what's his relationship with this girl, Sandra. Mukhang yun lang naman yung kailangan kong information kay Vanessa. I'm pretty sure, yun lang kailangan ni Ben na malaman.

I dont have to see her again. Kakalimutan ko na lahat sakanya. The only thing I would see her again is if I needed more details which I believed na wala na ako kailangan sakanya. Kailangan ko tapusin agad whatever started between us.
