 _"...What's with the pants?"-Ben asked me as I stood in a circle with him and the rest of my siblings. We were at Luther's "house", which was actually just the abandoned and poorly kept Umbrella Academy mansion. Five was not yet present, but Luther said he did call him and he was on his way. I crossed my arms, looking away from Ben with a frown on my face.

_"I didn't have time to change, leave me alone."

Just as I finished my very short explanation, Five entered the living room, approaching us rapidly and standing by my side as soon as he spotted me. He looked at me up and down before saying anything.

_"Nice pants."

_"Don't."-I stopped him before I was forced to make him sleep on the couch for the next two weeks.

Since everyone was present now, we could finally discuss what we were actually there for. Viktor's disappearance and apparent kidnapping.

_"Okay, Luther, we're here. What is it?"-Five was the one to actually start the conversation.

_"It says 'Your brother Viktor has been kidnapped. Follow my exact instructions, and no harm will come to him.'"-Luther read directly from the letter in his hand, then handed it to Allison to read too.

_"All right. Any idea on who might be behind this?"-The boy by my side asked, looking around at all of us. I honestly had no clue, so I just shrugged.

_"My money's on you-know-who."-I looked at Luther after hearing him.

_"Dad? Come on. Dad didn't kidnap Viktor. He doesn't give a shit about us."-Klaus said, and I agreed with him.

_"Yeah. He has no reason to do that, he quite literally got everything he wanted at the end."

_"Five, can't you just call your CIA buddies?"-I knew he couldn't, but I let Five answer anyway.

_"Well, the CIA doesn't investigate kidnappings. That's the FBI."

_"Wait. Hey, hey, no. We don't need anyone. We can handle this."-Diego seemed very confident in his skills even though we were definitely rusty after almost 6 years of being ordinary.

_"Yeah."-Luther seemed to be confident too.

_"We're not exactly a team anymore, Diego."-Five said, and if he, a CIA agent, was saying that, it definitely meant something.

_"Or ever were."-My eyebrows furrowed with Ben's addition. But he was technically right.

_"And, you know, then there's the whole 'no powers' thing."-Lila said exactly what I was thinking.

_"No. I don't care. If Viktor's in trouble, I'm in, right?"-Luther pointed at Diego, waiting for him to agree too, but he just looked at Lila as if asking for permission.

_"What are you looking at me for? I'm not your mother."

_"I'm in."-Diego took that as confirmation. But Lila wasn't very convinced.

_"Good luck."

_"What?"

_"You can't even run up a flight of stairs without getting a coronary."

_"I'm in the best goddamn shape of my life."

_"Jesus. Okay, anyway, now what?"-Allison decided she had enough of the couple's bickering, and changed the subject, turning to Luther again.

_"Uh, it says we're supposed to meet at Sy's Dry Cleaning on 5th Avenue."-...That was a very unexpected meeting place.

_"Perfect. Let's roll."
