_"Really? A samurai?"-Ben commented on the attackers appearance. Before we could do anything, even make up a plan to defeat the guy, Sloane started to run towards him while loudly yelling.

The samurai ran towards her as well, his katana ready to slice through her, but when she got close enough, she jumped, making him pass beneath her and miss the hit. Sloane landed easily on the floor and turned to face him again. When he realized that, he turned to try and strike her again, but she activated her abilities, holding his hands in place. Although she was successful so far, it was clear she was struggling.

_"Revenge looks good on her."-Ben made another comment. I rolled my eyes and Five looked at him confused.

_"Would you shut up and help us kill this thing?"-Five said before grabbing an emergency ax from the wall and joining Sloane.

I watched as the boy hit the samurai multiple times, waiting for a cue for me to do something too. But I soon realized that none of the hits were having any effect. They were just making that thing angrier.

_"This isn't working!"-I yelled at the two of them. They were still struggling.

_"Do you have any better ideas?!"-I heard Five answering, but couldn't really see him since he was behind the samurai now.

_"Let's take it to a more open space! We need to pay attention to his pattern of attack!"

_"How?!"-When the boy asked, I immediately turned intangible, running towards the thing and going right through him. That seemed to have made the being confused, and as I kept running and looking behind me, he started to go after me.

_"Just run! Please run, I didn't think this through!"-I realized that the sight of that thing running after me was scarier than I thought it would be. But they did comply, and the three of them started to run with me, trying to find somewhere to hide.

We finally reached an open door, and without even looking, I entered it, immediately running towards the first place that could shield me. That ended up being behind some drying machines. We were in the laundry room.

_"Am I alive?"-I asked Five who was now by my side, along with Ben and Sloane as well.

_"Wha- Yes, you're alive, Y/n!"

_"You've hit him with your ax five times. He should be dead by now."-Ben said. He should, but he wasn't.

_"It's the armor, it's like hitting cement."

_"If you guys manage to distract him, I can try something."-I said, looking at them to know their reactions. Five wasn't so happy.

_"Are you sure? If you're not sure I won't let you do it."-He asked, seriously. I nodded. I really tried to be reassuring, but I was not sure at all.

_"...Fine. We need to get behind him, make him confused."

_"Let's kill this thing."-Sloane said, and immediately got up from our hiding spot to go towards the thing. I was planning on talking a bit more about the plan but she didn't want to waste any more time.

Five blinked away as well, and I wished I could look back at them and see how they would do, but I couldn't risk getting seen and ruining my own plan. All I could tell was that they were having a hard time. However, I entered fight or flight mode when I heard Sloane screaming in pain and Five grunting.

Before I could do something myself, Ben got up and on top of the machines. I looked up at him to see him releasing the tentacles from his stomach, commanding them to wrap around the samurai and keep him in place, not allowing him to strike Five with the katana. It was the first time I was seeing Sparrow Ben using his powers.
