Five blinked us to Luther's house, the abandoned and destroyed Umbrella Academy mansion. Our family was already there, including Lila's relatives and children, who were standing by the entrance while my siblings were in the living room. Five and I walked towards them. They didn't look well. They weren't hurt or injured in any way, but their expressions told me they were giving up.

And I hate to say it, but I wasn't feeling so hopeful anymore either.

_"Hey. Great timing, great timing."-Klaus said to us. He walked closer, enveloping me in a warm hug and caressing my hair. It was different from his other many hugs he had given me before. My heart swelled up inside my chest.

_"Why'd you two come back? Things are pretty bleak here."-Luther asked, making me furrow my brows.

_"Of course we'd come back. You guys are still here."-I said, looking around at all of them. Five let out a sigh, nodding his head.

_"And I had a, uh, long and eye-opening conversation with myself."-When he said that, I gulped dryly. I stopped looking at my siblings to look at the ground.

_"What?"-Klaus asked, confused.

_"We are the reason this is happening."-Five cut straight to the point, surprising me a bit. I thought he would say more, but he stopped his phrase there.

_"You care to elaborate?"-Diego asked. The rest of them were all silently staring at both me and Five, waiting for actual answers.

_"The marigold that infected our mothers, bringing forth our births...had an unexpected side effect. It shattered the timeline, and it broke it into an infinite number of alternate timelines."-Five explained. I could see his hand shaking slightly. I decided to continue his explanation myself. Didn't want to leave him alone there.

_"The timelines are interfering with each other, a consequence of that are those artifacts the Keepers had."

_"Holy shit. Gene and Jean were right. Their dreams of other timelines were real."-Lila said, reflecting on that subject.

_"The fact other timelines existed was pretty obvious for a while now. But apparently, that's not how it's supposed to be."-I added. That theory was on my mind ever since our encounter with the version of Five that had built the Commission back then.

_"So we need to go back to the original timeline before any of the other ones were created."-Five said.

_"Am I the only one who's very, very, very confused?"-Klaus said, wiggling his hands in the air, trying to get our attention. His confusion was understandable.

_"Nope."-Luther felt the same, his fingers pressing against his temple. Viktor decided to speak.

_"That's what Ben was trying to show me."
