Diego picked up Klaus in his arms as I opened the van door for him to lay him down on the backseat. I went in first, so he could lay his head on my lap and I could hold him for more support. It was hard to see, there were tears in my eyes as my desperation grew. Klaus was bleeding a lot, too much. The bullet went through his heart.

_"Put pressure on the wound! Watch your hands."-Diego shouted as the others got inside, him getting on the drive's seat soon after. The van started moving.

My hands were pressed on my brother's wound, his eyes were looking up at mine as a plea for help. He coughed out blood, the jerk of his body only making the bleeding on his chest get worse. I slowly put a hand on his forehead so he would lay down again. I was badly shaking, my mind was hazed as I watched Klaus not even being able to scream in pain as he lost strength every second that passed.

Suddenly, I felt a strong impact just like everyone else in the van. We had run over something or someone. I didn't really know what was going on, my concentration was fully on Klaus, but Diego opened the passenger's door and yelled out.

_"Get in!"-When he said that, Viktor, Luther, Allison and Five got inside the van. Allison was the first one to immediately start helping me with Klaus, her hands covering his wound too.

_"What happened?!"-Allison yelled out. She didn't even bother looking at me for an answer, it was clear I couldn't speak just from the way I violently sobbed.

_"One of the motherfuckers shot Klaus!"-Diego yelled back. It was enough of an answer. She turned her attention towards our injured brother again.

Klaus' eyes slowly lost their shine, and his gaze seemed lost. His skin was rapidly turning paler, his pulse dangerously faint. He was holding on to life by a single thread.

_"Guys, he's dying!"-Allison shouted again. Klaus was losing his warmth. I finally looked up, and the first person my gaze fixed on was Five. I didn't even need to say anything. He immediately leaned down to grab the Marigold jar from the glove box in front of him. He gave it to me, my hands staining the glass with blood.

_"No, no, no, no! He doesn't want that!"-Allison screamed out. I knew that too. But how could we just watch him go?

_"You can't just let him die! He stopped breathing."-Luther defended the idea. I stared at Allison, and gave her the jar. I needed her to agree.

_"He's right, c'mon, give it to him!"-Viktor joined in.

_"What are you waiting for?!"-Diego shouted too. My sister was too nervous. But she opened the bottle.

I pulled up Klaus' shirt, and Allison poured the golden liquid in his injury as carefully but also as fast as she could. I mentally apologized to him for doing that. I knew his power was terrible, I knew the pain it caused him. But we couldn't lose him like that. I couldn't lose my family again.

The Marigold was floating in his bloodstream now. I attentively watched with wide eyes, waiting for any small response from my brother. Nothing happened. I started to grow anxious.

_"Klaus? Hey, Klaus."-Allison shook the man. She obtained no response.

_"Klaus, come on. Come on."-Lila called for him, and still, he was silent.

My hands that held the man became firmer. I pulled him into a hug, caressing his hair that was drenched in cold sweat. My forehead rested upon his, my eyes closed as I silently prayed. I begged, begged as much as I could for him to come back to us, to open his eyes. Everyone else in the van was silent, their hopes fading away, but mine didn't. I couldn't just give up. We gave him the Marigold, it had to work, or I would never forgive myself.
