Tree was already in her pajamas, watching a movie when you called her. She immediately changed into comfy clothes and put her shoes on while guiding your breathing. 5 minutes later and after a couple of rounds of breathing you were back to a normal breathing pace. Tree opened her car and started driving:- "Send me the address or location, I'll be there as soon as I can"
- "Okay. Thanks" you replied sending her the location and preparing to hang up.
- "Don't hung up, keep talking to me until I get there" the redhead said clicking on the location you just sent her and putting her on the car's gps.
- "Tree, I'm literally sitting on the bathroom's floor, I need to get out of here. What if someone is waiting for the bathroom outside?" You said getting up slowly and looking yourself at the mirror.
- "Doesn't matter, but if it makes you feel less anxious, get out, get your bag and your things and look for somewhere quiet where you can wait for me. I'm very close, I'll be there in 10"
You agreed. Thankfully, even when you felt the lump in your throat, you hadn't cried, so no one was going to know that you had a panic attack in the bathroom. You breathed deep and opened the door, no one was waiting for the bathroom. You walked to the room where you all had left your belongings and looked for somewhere to sit and talk to Tree. Everyone was playing flip the cup, so no one noticed when you walked past them and opened the front door, you sat down on a chair in the front porch. 5 minutes later you saw Tree's car coming over, you ran into it and as soon as you saw her you started to cry.
- "Hon..."
- "Please, let's leave. I don't want anyone seeing me like this. Drive" you begged, and Tree started the car. She started driving towards her house, it was really close by.
- "Lizzie, I'm very worried, are you hurt? Did someone do something to you? We need to call your mom" Tree said panicking, not knowing if she needed to drive to a hospital instead. All kind of horrible things were going through her mind right now.
- "No. No one hurt me. I'm fine. Don't call my mom, please. She'll be mad" you replied crying.
Tree sighed in relief and kept driving, stroking your knee every now and then to show support, you kept crying and looking through the window. When you got to Tree's house, she gently let you in and guided you to the sofa. She poured some water for you and handed it over; you thanked her and took a sip. You were just sniffing now.
- "What happened, Lizzie?" Tree asked drinking some water too.
- "Nothing, I just didn't want to be there anymore" you replied.
Tree narrowed her eyes, an unamused look: - "You call me almost at midnight, ask me to pick you up in the middle of a panic attack" (you lowered your head, looked to the floor) "this is not to make you feel guilty about calling me; but I get to know what happened. Also, we do need to call your mom and tell her that you're alright but that you asked me to pick you up"
- "You're right about everything. But please, call her and I'll tell you everything after you do it. I can't face calling her myself" you sighed with tears welling in your eyes again.
Tree nodded and called your mom quickly, although Andrea had a thousand of questions, Tree kept her voice calm and told her that she was going to take you home herself in a while. Andrea ended up agreeing because Tree kept telling her that you were absolutely fine, just a little overwhelmed but not hurt.
While Tree was talking over the phone with Andrea, Taylor called you. You panicked but tried to keep it cool:
- "Hey Tay!"
