O.W.L.s

The O.W.L.s were approaching, and all the students were nervous. In the Slytherin common room, Sasuke observed his classmates, wondering about their study methods and how many hours they dedicated to revision.

Sean: How many hours do you spend studying, Hestia?

Hestia: I'm not exactly sure, a few hours.

Sean: Around eight?

Hestia: Less.

Sean: I put in eight hours, sometimes even more.

Sean: And you, Sasuke? How many hours?

Sasuke: Less than you.

Sean: I see. – He said, smiling proudly, knowing he studied much more than his classmates.

Sasuke left the common room and headed towards the Room of Requirement. As he walked, he noticed several groups of students surrounding older students who were selling items. He paused to watch the scene.

Eddie Carmichael (Ravenclaw): Get your bottle of Baruffio's Brain Elixir! It sharpens the mind and enhances concentration, perfect for fighting off sleep. This elixir was the reason I scored nine Outstandings on my O.W.L.s last year. Half a liter for only twelve galleons!

Harold Dingle (Gryffindor): Grab your dragon claw powder! It stimulates the brain, and during the exam hours, you'll be more clever than usual. 100 grams for just seven galleons.

Sasuke turned away, but Carmichael and Dingle suddenly ran past him. He didn't understand why, and the other buyers also fled. A few minutes later, Hufflepuff and Gryffindor prefects arrived: Ernie Macmillan, Hannah Abbott, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger.

Hannah: Hello, Sasuke.

Sasuke: Hello.

Ernie: Uchiha, have you seen the vendors with products for the O.W.L.s?

Sasuke was about to respond but was interrupted.

Ron: Do you think he's going to tell us? Most likely, he's already bought something, hasn't he?

Hermione: Ron, don't make false accusations. Sorry about that, Sasuke.

Ron: Turn out your pockets, Uchiha.

Sasuke: You really never learn, do you?

Ron: You're defying a prefect.

Sasuke: Macmillan, regarding your question, no. And as for you, Weasley, make me.

Ron clenched his fists in anger but restrained himself, knowing that if he tried something, Sasuke would crush him.

Ron: Let's go. – He said, starting to walk away. – Hope you swallow that dragon claw powder; it's doxy droppings. – He thought.

The other prefects followed Ron, except Hermione.

Hermione: Sasuke, you should be careful about what you buy these days.

Sasuke: What do you mean?

Hermione: The products being sold are fake. Like the dragon claw powder, which is actually dried doxy droppings, and Baruffio's Brain Elixir, which is just goat bile. They tried selling this stuff last year too.

Sasuke: Thanks for the warning, but I don't need that nonsense.

Hermione: You're quite confident about your O.W.L.s.

Sasuke: I just don't see the importance of these exams.

Hermione: But these exams will decide your future.

Sasuke: I have more important things to think about. Besides, wizarding jobs don't interest me much; maybe I'll find something that catches my eye in the Muggle world.
