As Dumbledore pondered Snape's words, Professor Pomona Sprout hurried past, nearly colliding with the headmaster in her rush toward Mr. Smith. She barely noticed anything around her, mentally repeating, Mr. Smith, I hope you're alright, concerned he might have hit his head after such a considerable fall.
Carving a path through the crowd, she reached the platform where she found Poppy Pomfrey placing Zacharias Smith on a stretcher.
Sprout: Poppy, how is he?
Pomfrey: Nothing serious so far, but I need to take him to the infirmary for a closer examination.
The two left the Great Hall, bringing Zacharias with them.
While most students celebrated the victory, Hufflepuff House was quiet, worried about Zacharias's condition. Quietly, the students decided to head to the infirmary, eager for updates.
As for the others, they were at ease, noticing that Professor Flitwick, who was nearby, showed no signs of concern over Zacharias's life.
Flitwick: WITH THAT, THE TOURNAMENT IS CONCLUDED. THE AWARD CEREMONY WILL BE IN TWO HOURS. WE'LL TAKE A BREAK UNTIL THEN.
The students began to leave the Great Hall, mingling and wandering as they awaited the ceremony.
Inside the Hall, Professors Flitwick and McGonagall worked together to repair the platform and prepare a stage for the ceremony.

Out in the gardens, Sasuke, Draco, Astoria, Daphne, Luna, and Ginny were gathered.
Luna: Do you think we can see Zacharias now?
Draco: I'm not sure. Probably all of Hufflepuff is at the infirmary.
Ginny: He'll be fine. You all noticed something strange, didn't you?
Astoria: Yes, he activated the magical rune Sasuke gave him. His speed and strength increased all of a sudden.
Daphne: And he was still able to use magic while the strengthening rune was active.
Sasuke lay back on a bench, gazing up at the sky.
Luna: Sasuke, what do you think about Zacharias?
Sasuke: He's not going to die.
The others exchanged confused glances. What did he mean by that?
Sasuke stood up and began to walk away.
Sasuke: I'll see you all later.
They simply watched him leave, sensing his preference to walk alone.
Luna: I knew he was concerned about Zacharias.
Daphne: What makes you say that?
Luna: Look at the direction he's headed.
Ginny: He's going to the infirmary.
Astoria: So, he's worried too.

At the infirmary, near Zacharias's bed, stood his friends: Susan Bones, Hannah Abbott, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Eloise Midgen, Mady Brockhurst, Eleanor Brinstone, and Professor Sprout.
Sprout: How is Mr. Smith, Poppy?
Pomfrey: Physically, he's alright, but the issue is that he still hasn't woken up. I'll keep him under observation.
