At the base of the mountain, a goblin watched the fallen participant's body.
Goblin: Fools, without magic, they are nothing.
The goblin raised his gloved hand toward the mountain's peak, shooting his fingers like harpoons attached to ropes. The claws sank into the slope, and a mechanical sound echoed from the gauntlet, as if a reel was pulling in the rope, drawing him upward.
He repeated the process with his other hand, quickly climbing past several competitors who moved sluggishly.
The emperor's three sons watched in frustration as the goblin overtook them.
Dong, one of the sons, raised his hand toward the goblin, but nothing happened.
Bushi: Don't waste your time, Dong. You know magic doesn't work here.
Dong: If magic worked, we would already be at the top.
Genki: Stop complaining, or we won't make it there.
The three continued to climb.

Sasuke had reached the base of the mountain, and as soon as he arrived, he felt his chakra surge.
Sasuke: I can feel my power growing. It's like when Tom sealed my magic with that spell. he thought.
Sasuke: Hahahahaha!
Sasuke: I don't know what it is about this place, but it's perfect for me. he thought.
A blue aura enveloped Sasuke, creating a current of air around him. Without hesitation, he jumped onto the mountain and began sprinting up its steep slope, surpassing all the other participants, who looked on in astonishment.
Renes watched in irritation as Sasuke left him behind. A chunk of dirt dislodged from Sasuke's path and landed on Renes' face, turning his irritation into hatred.
He swore revenge on Sasuke.
Sasuke caught up to the goblin and soon passed him. The goblin looked on in disbelief.
Goblin: How is he climbing like this? This place is supposed to prevent the use of magic. he thought.
Sasuke reached the summit, where he found two gold coins for being the first to arrive. He picked them up and crossed through the portal.
