Hogwarts
Inside the Great Hall, the professors were having breakfast, each preoccupied with their duties as representatives of the school.
Hagrid: Professor McGonagall, perhaps you should look for Professor Dumbledore.
Minerva: I don't think so, Hagrid. If he didn't join us, he has likely already left for Snape's funeral. We must hurry; there are many funerals to attend.
Filius: All of this is such a tragedy for Hogwarts.
Pomona: So sad... so many young lives lost.
Sybill: Perhaps if those students had attended my Divination classes, I could have foreseen their futures and warned them.
The other professors exchanged somber glances at Sybill's words.
Horace: Regardless, as Hogwarts professors, we must be punctual.
They gathered around the fireplace to travel to the Crabbe Manor, where Severus Snape's funeral was to be held.
Minerva was still irritated. The previous night, she had argued once again with Albus, who had disregarded her warnings and evidence against Sasuke Uchiha. He even had the audacity to accuse her of discrimination because Sasuke was from Slytherin, making her even more infuriated.
At Crabbe Manor, the Hogwarts professors arrived and were surprised to see both former and current members of the Order of the Phoenix waiting.
Hagrid: Harry, Ron, Hermione, it's good to see you here to say a final goodbye to Professor Snape.
Harry: Good to see you, Hagrid. I wouldn't have missed it.
Ron: It's strange... only Snape has a silver urn.
Minerva: What did you say?
Horace: It's true; it's unusual.
The professors looked at the coffins, noticing that only Snape's was marked with an urn.
Some of the attendees exchanged skeptical glances, but Slughorn brushed this off and went to greet former members of the Slug Club.
As the professors approached to pay their respects, they were surprised to see Draco and Ginny seated together, holding hands in the front row.
Harry watched the scene, annoyed, wondering since when Ginny and Draco had grown so close.
Harry: Ron, since when have Ginny and Draco been a couple?
Ron: I'd rather not talk about it. It just bothers me, and worse yet, Mum approves.
Harry: Mrs. Weasley approves?
Hermione: Harry, you were too slow. Ginny was always in love with you, but she moved on, she thought.
Ginny, noticing who had arrived, waved. Draco gave a slight nod.
Harry and Ron responded in kind.
A wizard in ceremonial robes approached the podium and began to speak about the deceased, touching on their lives, achievements, dreams, and ambitions.
As the ceremony concluded, the members of the Order of the Phoenix began to leave, as there were still many funerals to attend, both for students and comrades from Dumbledore's Army.
Suddenly, the hall doors opened, and the Ministry of Magic personnel entered, led by the Minister for Magic, Amelia Bones. By her side were Rufus Scrimgeour and Sasuke Uchiha.
Everyone watched as they approached.
Amelia Bones stepped up to the podium to deliver her speech.
Amelia: Good morning, everyone. Today, in addition to paying respects to those who fell in Voldemort's last attack, I am here to honor a man who was a great professor and hero. He provided the Ministry with invaluable information, fought on the front lines, risked his life, and saved many others. It is with great honor that the Ministry of Magic recognizes his contributions and accomplishments.
