Confrontation XII

About Hagrid's Hut

Voldemort pointed his wand at Harry and, with a swift motion, cast his spell.

Voldemort: Crucio!

Harry writhed in pain, struggling to stay conscious.

Dumbledore, using wandless magic, managed to silently seal the wound with his uninjured hand. Now, he focused on regaining his strength.

Harry began to laugh, mocking Voldemort.

Harry: Is that all you can do, Voldemort? You're pathetic! You have the most powerful wand, yet all you can do is play like a child, casting the same spell over and over.

Dumbledore: Go on, Tom. Use the Killing Curse on Harry to eliminate the Horcrux inside him; that will be your end. he thought

Voldemort: I've prolonged this long enough. It's time to finish it.

Voldemort aimed his wand at Dumbledore.

The professor was taken by surprise; he hadn't expected Voldemort to decide to eliminate him first. But suddenly, the wand turned towards Harry.

Voldemort: Serpensortia!

A large serpent appeared beside Voldemort, who began to speak in Parseltongue to control it.

Voldemort (in Parseltongue): Crush his throat!

The serpent lunged at Harry, ready to bite him.

Dumbledore thought this shouldn't happen; he should be using the Killing Curse.

Extending his uninjured hand, he realized no spell would emerge to stop the serpent.

Harry, seeing the fangs approaching his neck, closed his eyes in resignation.

Voldemort smiled at this, but suddenly, someone appeared between Harry and the serpent.

Snape, who had been watching everything from above, leaped to protect Harry, and the serpent bit his throat instead.

Voldemort: Severus!

Snape did not respond, but with a flick of his wand, he made the serpent disappear.

Voldemort: Severus, so you've switched sides. I had my suspicions since the failed mission to kill Uchiha, but now there is no doubt. All this for a corpse of a blood traitor rotting two meters underground.

Snape glared at Voldemort with hatred and, in a swift motion, cast a spell.

Voldemort instinctively moved his wand to deflect the spell, but it never reached its target.

Snape's spell shot upward, dissipating the force field.

Voldemort: It seems the poison is making you lose consciousness, but it's time to end this.

Voldemort moved his wand and pointed it at Snape. Before he could utter a word, someone fell between Voldemort and Snape.

Voldemort: Sasuke Uchiha!

Sasuke: Winki, now!

The house-elf, having gone unnoticed, appeared behind Sasuke and managed to grasp Voldemort and Sasuke with her hands; all three vanished from the location.

Dumbledore watched helplessly as Voldemort and Sasuke disappeared.

Dumbledore: Severus!

Without wasting a moment, Snape threw a potion to Dumbledore and began to move his wand, tracing several runes. Harry, confused, watched everything unfold.

Harry: Professor, what are you doing? We need to get him to Madam Pomfrey!

Snape reached into his pockets and pulled out a flask containing a dark red liquid. From the other pocket, he retrieved an ancient, worn-out book.
