The Next Day:

The tournament and the dueling club were the talk of the castle.

Sasuke had informed Draco, Luna, Daphne, Astoria, Zacharias, and Ginny that he would think it over. They understood that he was planning something and, therefore, did not bring it up again, choosing instead to wait patiently.

In the Gryffindor Tower:

Student 1: So, are we going to sign up for the tournament?

Student 2: There's nothing to fear. Lucky for us, we're not in fifth year.

Student 3: Hahaha, you're right.

Student 4: But we'll participate in the dueling club. Professor Flitwick was a dueling champion in his youth; he'll teach us well to be prepared.

Student 1: Those prizes will be ours.

This same conversation echoed in other common rooms. Some students opted to go to the library to get books on dueling, but the books had already been checked out by students from other houses.

Student 5: We arrived too late; the books are all gone.

Student 6: We'll have to wait until next week.

Across the common room, most of the male Gryffindor students were gathered.

Ron: Are you guys participating?

Dean, Seamus, Colin, Jimmy, Ritchie... remained silent.

Harry and Neville: I'll participate.

Dean: Neville, aren't you afraid to face Uchiha?

Neville: No, and I'm going to get my revenge for what he did two years ago.

Neville recalled when Sasuke had crushed him so Malfoy could impersonate him, leading to the discovery of the ED.

Harry, in his mind, thought about making Sasuke pay for what he did to Sirius.

Ron: We should participate. This time there will be a jury, and they'll award prizes to the top five places. We just need to fill the four remaining spots, and Gryffindor will be the most powerful house.

Many who heard this began to get excited about participating.

Harry: Neville, the ED will be active again, every day from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Room of Requirement.

Neville: That's great.

A voice came from behind them.

Hermione: You should remember that you can only use standard spells or those taught in class. If you plan to use others, you must consult your house heads to see if you can or cannot.

Parvati: Is that true, Hermione?

Hermione: Those are Professor Dumbledore's rules.

Ron: So that means Uchiha won't be able to use his invented spells; otherwise, he'll be disqualified.

Everyone else started to smile at this statement.

Hermione, in her thoughts, wondered why they needed to register spells. Did they want Sasuke to reveal the details of his spells? Then she remembered Ron saying that Dumbledore would be watching him.

Hermione snapped out of her thoughts when she glanced at the clock.

Hermione: We need to hurry; we have class with Snape.
