Draco, Luna, Astoria, Daphne, Ginny, and Zacharias were each seated in a personal mini pool filled with 10 cm of water.
They were trying to feel the magical energy around them, and the water helped, as any movement created small ripples on the surface.
Sasuke, sitting on a rock, observed them from the side, surprised by the idea of using water as a support.
With their eyes closed, the six recalled the sensation of casting their spells and tried to imagine the flow of magic moving toward their wands.
As they concentrated, the previously still water began to stir.
Sasuke: Keep it up. Try to maintain the movement of the water and don't lose focus.
Unfortunately, they lost concentration, and the water stopped stirring.
Daphne: We failed.
The others looked down, disheartened.
Sasuke: Don't worry; you did well on your first attempt. Start again and try to keep the water moving for longer. This time, keep your eyes open.
They resumed practice, now with their eyes open.

Susan was reading a letter from her aunt, detailing that she and Sasuke would be using the Floo Network from Professor McGonagall's office to go to the Ministry of Magic.
She smiled at the thought of spending Christmas with him.
Hannah: Susan, why are you so cheerful?
Susan: Can't you see it on my face?
Hannah: Yes, it's obvious.
Susan: Here, read the letter.
Hannah quickly scanned the letter and looked surprised.
Hannah: You're spending Christmas with...
Susan: Keep your voice down; I don't want her to find out.
Hannah: You're talking about Greengrass?
Susan: Yes, I don't want my holidays ruined.
Hannah: Well, good luck with the mistletoe.
The two laughed at the thought.

The six smiled at the recognition.
Sasuke: The next step is to control and direct that flow to a single point. You already do this unconsciously when casting spells with your wands.
Draco: That's clear to us since we use our dominant hand with the wand.
The others nodded in agreement with Draco's words.
Sasuke: However, in this practice, you'll use your other hand.
Luna: Why, if we're right-handed?
