Professor McGonagall was at the Three Broomsticks tavern, accompanied by Tonks, Kingsley, and Moody.

Minerva: Rosmerta, give me a glass of Firewhisky.

Rosmerta: Minerva, isn't it a bit early for that?

Tonks and Kingsley exchanged surprised glances.

Minerva: No, I need it now. Besides, there aren't any students around, so it doesn't matter.

Rosmerta turned to pour the whisky.

Tonks: Minerva, how did it go?

Minerva: A disaster. She ignored all my warnings.

Kingsley: And the Muggle weapon he used, without even notifying the Ministry...

Minerva: It wasn't a Muggle weapon. It was something else.

Moody: What are you talking about? Of course it was a Muggle weapon. My magical eye and the spells I cast didn't detect any traces of magic.

Rosmerta listened in silence, knowing that if she stayed quiet, the customers would sometimes forget her presence while drinking and speak more freely.

Minerva: It was a lightning bolt.

Kingsley: A lightning bolt?

Minerva: Yes, he showed the evidence, and the team that erased the witnesses' memories confirmed it.

Tonks: If it was a lightning bolt... then Sasuke Uchiha can control lightning?

Kingsley: That's absurd! Lightning is a force of nature; it can't be controlled.

Without Minerva asking, Rosmerta filled her glass again, absorbed in the conversation.

Moody: If he can control it, that makes him even more dangerous. Who knows what else he can do?

Tonks looked at Kingsley, worried.

Tonks: We need to go to the Ministry. We have to alert our contacts about the imminent danger.

Minerva: I doubt they'll listen to you.

Kingsley: What do you mean?

Minerva: Amelia dismissed them. She said not to bother showing up. Their things will be sent by owl.

Tonks looked down, visibly disheartened, while Kingsley clenched his fists in frustration.

Tonks: Rosmerta, a Firewhisky for me too, please.

So, the four of them began to drink in silence, disheartened by their failure to secure the Ministry's support.

At the Burrow, on the same day:

Ginny adjusted her new robes, excited to go out.

She hurried down the stairs, eager for her meeting with Draco.

Molly: You look lovely, dear.

Ginny: Thanks, Mum.

Arthur: It's about time; I've been waiting for you.

Ginny: What?

Arthur: I'm going with you.

Ginny: Why?

Arthur: Did you really think I'd let you go alone?

Fred and George chuckled in the background.

Fred: You thought they'd let you go by yourself?

George: It seems so.

Fred: Seriously, Ginny?

George: Did you forget he's Lucius Malfoy's son?
